  1. Haneto, i will definately look up that article. I dont see what your Latin American GB effort has to do with anything. To some extent, WW2 axis subjects do sadden me. I dont know of any good patriot thats not saddened by the loss of any military member peace or wartime. Thats not to say you shouldnt build then, its just my opinion. I guess these are war machines and to quote Robert E Lee "It is well that war is so terrible, otherwise we sould grow to fond of it."
  2. You have great modeling skills. that beeing said, it was never proven that Lt. Speicher was downed by a Mig. His body was discovered in 2009. This Modeling subject saddens me as an American.
  3. Good Job on the cockpit! I wanted to add that if you can find a Dragon 1/144 kit they come with all 3 chin pods for A, B and D. Also they have really good weapons, bombs, and missiles etc. and the targeting pod that goes on the right side glove pylon. Keep up the good work!
  4. Are they still in production? Ive gotten them from squadron before and they have none!
  5. Can anyone show me, possibly with pictures how they install their 1:72 scale steel beach intake covers. I have made paper ones to practice, then tried the acutal ones, and they did not really work at all. im sure im doing somthing wrong, because i have seen them look nice, but not for me. thanks in advance.

  9. holy cow!! i bought 3 of these babies, the older ones with the VF-74 markings, and i open them up and to my shock, Raised panel lines??? ***??? They really werent cheap by any means. i feel my academy 1/72 is much better, as all the panel lines are recessed plus it cost 10$ less.Any tips on how to make the hasegawa kit look better are much appreciated.
  10. How does everyone attatch landing gear doors, especially 1/72 tomcats? Ive been trying Zap a gap, and it works, but it just doesnt look clean. Any tips or tricks?

  18. Thanks guys for your input. Does the Humbrol come in a spray can?? By the way Andy Mullen, you are my hero!!! at least one tomcat for every squad. AWESOME!!
  19. What brand of 16440 do you guys use on your models? i use modelmaster out of the spray can ( i dont have an airbrush) and it always seems to be a bit to "tan" compared to navy jets you see in pictures. Maybe its just me. I was wondering if any other brands of spray paints had a more "gray" look.
