  1. All looks great Trooper; which jet is that in the background? Chris
  2. Thanks Don, might be an illusion from the masks though, as the framing is unmodified. When you build six-footers like I do, the thickness of the canopy framing is of little consequence in the end 🤪 Chris
  3. It's the Revell kit...I updated the aft fuselage slightly with the ALQ-172 antenna fairings from the Minicraft late model H boxing. I do have an in-progress Academy kit using 144005, along with a few custom decals to backdate the markings a bit: Chris
  4. I get an invalid address error from this link; is it because I’m not a FB member? Chris
  5. Received my inserts yesterday, and promptly applied them: Chris
  6. Thanks for checking, that's a good shot...don't see many photos of FC jets with the short-lived blue stripe. Chris
  7. Trooper, thanks for all the photos...how about 60-0052 at Fairchild circa 1993-94? I've seen one low-res photo of her in 92 BW flagship markings, would love to see more- Also, here’s some tall-tail inspiration with Jimmy Stewart: Chris
  8. All great shots Trooper, many great decal candidates there in my opinion! 0030 received "Miss Liberty" nose art a bit later in 1993, and also wore the 668 BS emblem on the right side of the nose: 0033, with 416 BW flagship markings shown in your photo, was "France Libre" (included in AMT's original late B-52G boxing). I don't have a photo to post, but there's a shot of it in Logan's ACC Bomber Triad book. Chris
  9. Great shots Trooper; SIOP has never been my favorite, but the paint mismatches on the cowlings & external tank of 57-6470 would make for an interesting model. Chris
  10. Describing a strat-camo jet (like in Dutch's first photo) the Aerofax G/H book states the "rub area on fuselage where stabilizer pivots is FS 36118 gray." For my 1/144 H in overall FS 36081, I used Expert’s Choice Wing Walk Gray trim film, which is close to 36118 and is just the right amount of contrast to my eye. Chrsi
  11. Quite so, you’re spot on! Chris
  12. Wolfpack lists a 1/144 X-51 as a future release, so markings for 60-0050 would be great even if an AGM-183 doesn't materialize any time soon. Beyond that, I'd love to see some of the never-covered H-model unit/marking combinations from the 1992-95 era: Fairchild (early): FC with blue stripe Fairchild (late): FC with red/black chex with small Seahawk logos on forward fuselage (original AMT release had this version) Griffiss (early): GR with black/white Statue of Liberty head Griffiss (late): GR with red/yellow/white "Griffiss" stripe Minot (early): MT
  13. Didn’t know the Sova kit was coming, I’d be interested in a Randolph line jet. Thanks Chris
  14. Don Logan's B-1 book lists two variations, though it's not clear to me if there were indeed two versions of the desert scheme between B-1A #3 and B-1A #4, or if the book is in error. FS 30140, 30400, and 34201 FS 30219, 30400, and 34201 Chris
  15. Kursad, do you anticipate a 1/144 version in 2023? Thanks Chris
  16. Fighters make movies, bombers make history! (with some exceptions of course) 😉 Chris
  17. Perhaps these will inspire Mr Tamiya to enter the 1/72 B-52G/H market 😆 Thanks for doing these! Chris
  18. My 1/144 B-52H has primer on it...need to get busy with some FS 36081 to have it ready for the "Smaug's Revenge" option! Chris
  19. I look forward to that, and would also love to see some post-Desert Storm Moody Vipers sometime…Werewolves, Lancers, Stingers etc. Thanks Chris
  20. Great, looking forward to it- Chris
  21. Following, especially interested to see the MILSTAR radome- Chris
  22. Trooper, great to see this one moving again! Really like all the antennas, makes a big difference. Chris
  23. Fantastic, so many great subjects to choose from! Thanks Chris
