Those look great Mark! Always good to see heavies in 1/72. Jonah

I'll look forward to the B-52D! The announcement seems to imply that the wings will be recycled from the H kit. Jonah

The large MFD on the right side of the panel, if that's what you're looking at, is the display for the Sniper pod. Don't know if it is integrated with any other systems. Jonah

I'm enjoying watching your projects; I started on my A model this morning. If I can cobble together the right decals I plan to make it a Barksdale jet in the Shamu scheme. How are you going to source decals for your recce jets? Jonah

Looks good....how many C-135 models do you have planned altogether? Jonah

Any Word on Minicraft 1/144 EC-135C Looking Glass Release?

No, but I'm really looking forward to it too! Jonah -
I was fortunate enough to be able to do the Pima-sponsored bus tour of AMARG last fall, and noticed that one of the jets was missing all 4 engines from the right wing...that must be the one that is no longer Type 1000? Depending on what else is missing though, presumably that jet could be regenerated also, for instance taking the engines from the jet that had the cockpit far that the Ghost Rider is replacing? I'll be curious to see if another one gets regenerated to replace 60-0047. Truly thankful there was no loss of life. Jonah

Looks great Rick! What paints did you use for the Ms21? Jonah

LF the hi-vis decals from Revell's original issue of the KC-10, and the low-vis "Shamu scheme" markings from the Revell AG reboxing. Edit: Found the hi-vis decals thanks to zerosystem. I can pay via PayPal, or I've got some 1/144 kits & decals to offer in trade (including a Draw Decal sheet for Travis AFB KC-10s), as well as most of the weapons from Academy's 1/32 F/A-18C. Thanks Jonah

Dutch, a 34 BS jet would be near the top of my wish list for Gs as well; here's a couple of other views of 0242 that shows the T-Bird nose art that I think would look so good on a model: http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Boeing-B-52G-Stratofortress/0827969/L/&sid=ce57a07bdea87d3617f7156e5a59a404 http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Boeing-B-52G-Stratofortress/0139070/L/&sid=26b273599c6c15800de417bf23ac2513 ACC-era options from Castle & Loring would be good too, along with Desert Storm jets. I built that kit about 15 years ago, it was a lot of fun. Enjoy your build, thanks for sharing. Jonah

The Buff in Dr Strangelove was a short-tail variant as I recall. I've been thinking about what's been done for the H in 1/72 and what hasn't, specifically focused on the 1980s to the present, since the AMT/Italeri kit most nearly represents a 1980s fit OOB: - Fox One covered Minot & Barksdale fairly thoroughly from the Air Combat Command days, spanning the mid 90s until 2003 or so. - Eagle Strike's sheet was largely redundant, covering the same units but different tail numbers/nose arts. - Three Guys Replicas was a mid-late SAC-era sheet: a Carswell jet in Strategic camo, 1990; a KI

I've been happy with it too, I've used mainly lacquers and enamels on top of it. I haven't touched my Testors primer since I tried Tamiya's. Jonah
