  1. The original version of the ACC emblem had yellow lettering, making it difficult to tell in many photos if it's a holdover TAC emblem or the early ACC emblem. I'd have to hunt for a clear photo illustrating this, but given the timeframe of the F-111D's retirement, perhaps consider taking the third TAC/ACC emblems and making those the early ACC version with yellow lettering. That would result in pairs of TAC, ACC yellow, and ACC blue, covering all possibilities. Chris
  2. Possibly...I don't have good photos of either of those particular jets. I think ACC emblems are appropriate for whichever jet is the 523 FS flagship, as they flew -111Ds on both sides of the TAC/ACC reorganization. Chris
  3. Looks great, I'll buy in both 1/48 & 1/72. I'm curious though about the odd number of TAC & ACC emblems....3 each? Thanks for producing these- Chris
  4. Your model is looking great! I'd like to build an HC-130 in 1/144 one of these days- Chris
  5. I'd love to see comprehensive coverage of the 27 FW 'Vaarks in 1/48 and/or 1/72; the 522, 523, 524, and 428 FS' flew the -111D/E/F/G variants in the 90s wearing FS 36118. Don Logan's F-111 book has great refs- Chris
  6. Arii F-111E marked as F-111F 70-2408 as she appeared in October 1993. Built straight OOB with a mix of custom & spares box decals. Positioning the wings forward would have created a gap to deal with, so in the interests of keeping this project simple I positioned them aft. While researching the tail end of the 'Varks USAF career, I found several photos of FS 36118 jets carrying green drop tanks, so went with that look. Chris
  7. Intriguing, thanks for the link- Chris
  8. I can help with that, between the effort that’s already gone into this sheet and 144025, a great Shamu -135A/R sheet seems within reach- Chris
  9. I'd love to build each option...hope I live long enough! 🤪 Thanks for doing these- Chris
  10. Looks as though the APU exhaust is integral to the fuselage half, as opposed to a separate part... Thanks for the update- Chris
  11. Hey Glynn, I don't believe I've seen a photo of a Reapers jet with Sniper loaded...I think Sniper came along around 2007-08, after the Reapers moved to Whiteman. Is your project 1/72? Chris
  12. Looking forward to that next round; my Bone references are at your disposal! Chris
  13. All sounds fantastic; perhaps 'recent' can be stretched back to the early 90s era to include Hs with FC, GR, CW, & KI tail codes (and perhaps Gs with LZ, CA, LA, & MO)! Chris
  14. And perhaps Roden has A & E models waiting in the wings too... 😉
  15. I applaud Roden for researching an older R-model subject, with so many photos out there of AMC-gray jets over the last 30 years. Looking forward to the kit and any new aftermarket decals it prompts! Chris
  16. From kit 14641...really just need the Air Combat Command emblems. Located in Nebraska, thanks- Chris
  17. Great lineup, I’m in for several! Chris
  18. Thanks for the info; hoping a sheet with Werewolves or Lancers tail flashes will come along! Chris
  19. I've been on the lookout for 457 TFS Thud decals; will definitely get this one! Chris
