  1. Selling my 1/30 Ogonek Soyuz Model kit. Never got around to building this even though it's very well detailed. Ends Monday. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ogonek-Soyuz-Model-Kit-Ogoniek-/221740942187?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33a0ca436b
  2. Awesome! I have always wanted to see someone tackle this with a proper rebuild. The oven is probably your best bet for heating the plastic before forming. Another option would be to use a small electric griddle heating plate. This is what the old Mattel vacuforming toy used and it distributes the heat more evenly then raw heating coils. If using the heating plate method you may want to put a thin sheet of metal above the plastic to hold the heat in. I'm confident that you'll make it look fantastic. Have you thought about how to replicate the fabric material of the space suit?
  3. Only 24 hours left! Ends at 7:30 p.m. EST
  4. very nice work sir. Now all you need is the Monogram Booster kit. The Orbiter really isn't a "space shuttle" without the boosters and external fuel tank.
  5. so props are a little side hobby of mine and I have a really nice Xmen piece I was originally going to use for a Halloween costume. However, I no longer need it so behold, Cyclops visor! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220821252584&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  6. actually short circuit was just on AMC yesterday. It is becoming rare to see nowadays though.
  7. Hey Guys, Selling my last hand painted bot. I've made a video showing off all the features. Wouldn't you like to see? Thanks, Josh
  8. I'm selling a very lightly used all metal paint booth with a blower fan. It's only $1 at the moment and if you live in the Southwest Michigan area pick-up/delivery is available. Metal Paint Booth with Fan. Ends Sunday 5/29 Thanks!
  9. Hey all, I recently finished building a 13" Johnny Five robot WITH sound. Thats right at a push of a button Johnny says one of the nine programmed phrases. Heres a youtube video of him in action: And heres the link to the Ebay Auction. Ends Sunday! Ebay Link. Ends Sunday Thanks for looking!
  10. That was indeed Short Circuit 2. That is a pretty good movie as well. That movie has been the motivation for getting a toy sized Johnny.
  11. That depends on your definition of "silly money" but yes they are a bit pricey. This particular repainted one is up on Evilbay right now as I had intended to sell it to a client that has since fallen through. You can still get them (with a slightly less good paint job) from Monsters In Motion for $225. Steep, yes, but keep in mind this is an injection molded durable plastic kit that had to be machined. Only 100 exists and they are numbered. Plus they are too fun to play with to not have one around. I stocked up which is rare for me. Mainly did it because it doesn't look like there will be a
  12. Finished building this and it was intended for a client but he has bailed out of the deal so it shall go to the highest bidder: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...=STRK:MESELX:IT Thanks!
  13. Who's Johnny you say? He's the laser toting prototype robot that was miraculously made sentient through a lightning strike. The famous 1980's scifi comedy captured my admiration at an early age and when I found out another dedicated fan was producing a limited injection molding run of Johnny I snatched up a healthy supply :D This particular J5 has been repainted and had some of the rough edges cleaned up. I'm glad with how it turned out though the client I built it for must not have been very impressed as he pulled out of the deal :/ J5 is 13" tall, features movable tracks and eyelids along
