  1. Peter Kormos F-4 flight display is awesome. He needs to do a "how to article" on producing the blurred runway and the acrylic rod display. I really adds a realistic touch to a realistic model, very nice work indeed. I look forward to further projects from Peter. Brian
  2. thanks, Richard, it was alot of fun. Brian
  3. Yeah thats a sweet looking E-2C Hawkeye, love the wing folds and weathering.
  4. I have an AMT F4-C that i plan on building. Its a nice kit but want to upgrade the cockpit and engines. Any suggestions on where I can find some resin aftermaket pieces?
  5. Is the any company in the US that sells New Ware Products? Seen an ad in last month FSM about a detail set for the LM. Would like to purchase these sometime without going to an overseas company.
  6. Darren, just wanted to say enjoyed your article and model in FSM, its just a cool looking model. Actually I enjoy all your models here on ARC, you provide a lot of inspiration. I have four F/A-18's in the closet waiting to be built. Thanks again...
  7. I'm in search of decal markings for the North Dakota air national guard "Happy Hooligan" markings. Super Scale #s are 48-73 and 48-189. These are for the F-4 Phantoms. I'm really just interested in the Happy Hooligan tail band. If anyone has these and want to sell them, drop me a line.
  8. thanks for the link and everyone's suggestions. I just tried Testors Dull Cote,1260 Flat Lacquer Overcoat and it went on perfectly. Sprayed it right over the Future coat without any problems and didnt affect the decals at all.
  9. Acrylic flat is what I have been using. Thanks for the input.
  10. The last several models I have built, when applying a flat clear coat, the flat clear coat turns my paint job into a frosty paint job. In other words, it leaves white frosted spots all over the model. It almost seems the the flat clear is too strong or something. I've tried different brands of flat clear and different mixture ratios in my airbrush but still have the same problem. Has anyone else ever had this and does anyone have any suggestions too try? One good thing though, it sure simulates a faded paint very well if your modelling WWII aircraft or anything that requires a faded pain
  11. Pete's LM is awesome. Would also enjoy seeing a indepth article and more photos. Brian
