  1. Perfect and precise info! Thanks! :) Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  2. I want to build Manfred Von Richthofens last mount, and have bought Model Airways 1/16 Fokker Dr.I. I want to get Gaspatch models Spandau guns. Should I get the regular ones, or the ones with the extended loading handle..? http://www.gaspatchmodels.com/machine-guns-1-16/ I found some pics on the web, of the Spandaus from Richthofens wreck, that to me looks like the regular loading handles. But I'm no expert... Can anybody help out..? Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  3. I know slats were rare, if at all, in SEA. But this pic made me wonder. There's a shadow on the outer wing on -362 that could look like a slat, but it's probably just the sawtooth..? https://martycavato.smugmug.com/Military/Udorn-Thailand-1971-72/i-BJKSkx6/A
  4. Did 362 have the slatted wing or not? Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  5. Awesome subject! I have this jet with a lot of aftermarket goodies in my stash. I was born on the 8th of July 1972... Until Marty Cavatos pics surfaced, there were very few pics available of 67-362. They fired 3 Sparrows in the engagement, so there should be one left. I have Fox One Decals 48-024 that covers this aircraft. Perhaps you can find it on ebay? Keep up the great work! Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  6. Since the canard flaps are the only flaps on the 37, yes those are the flaps I'm talking about! ;) The flight controls on the main wing are called elevons. And although they do move 4 deg. with the flaps, they do so to counteract the pitch up moment of the flaps. A sort of auto-trim, if you wish. It was hard to tell from the pics, if they were pointed at the root or not. I had hoped I could catch you doing something stupid... Rats! ;) Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  7. I'm just jealous, so I'll criticize... Are those flaps drooping far enough..? :) Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  8. Definately a god save! If you look closely at the decals on the full size, you will see slightly darkened edges from the laquer used to seal the edges. And, a word of advice... Test your decals first! No, I don't either... ;) Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  9. You know I'm on to your scheme... You don't actually build models, but steal real aircraft and shrink them! ;) Think of it this way... To really compare old vs. new, you need to make a Tarangus copy of your ESCI/Airfix/TwoMikes Viggen... You owe it to your fans..! :) Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  10. I want your skills, Janne. Are they for sale..? ;) Looking forward to see you build a splinter-camo 37 after this one... Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  11. Looks great, as always! Will Tarangus release a AJ-37 or is that accomplished with aftermarket stuff? The Nordic Airpower Viggen book is great, but I cried when I saw the F15 page... Flottilla emblem from Wikipedia..! Sigh! Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  12. Mister Spiiiidbildah!! ;) That looks great! Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  13. Really? The Revell E is that good? Have to check it out! Jorgen "Troll" Toll
  14. Looks great! Any word on a E version from GWH? Jorgen "Troll" Toll
