In both kits there are two oddly shaped parts numbered "16" and "17" which are not called out for use in the instructions. Does anyone know what these vaguely trapezoidal shaped parts are for? My first thought that it was intended to extend the height of the vertical stabilizer as an extension of the extant fin cap but that turned out to be a dead end as it lacks the length and width for that purpose. I have gone through both instruction sheets carefully page by page to the point that my eyes are now watering. This was also posted to the General Discussion forum t

Bump back to the top. Has anyone built any of the kits I mentioned as clean aircraft with no stores attached under the wings and fuselage? I am more than willing to trade for the bits and pieces or purchase from anyone that has these to spare. Not looking for handouts unless you are pheeling philanthropic.

A follow-up to the above post. I now know why I am missing the clear parts from the first four Warthog kits that I acquired several years ago. The recent delivery of two NIB Revell Warthog kits from an on-line retailer highlights my own ignorance with regards to the kit contents.
