The fire bomb stores you are looking for were also available in resin from KMC many moons ago and later on under the Squadron "True Details" brand name as the BLU-10 Napalm Bomb.

This package included four BLU-10 in the package.

True Details set contained two BLU-10 in each package.  Also the image for this appears to be of a different weapon.

Hope this helps considering the numbers you are requiring for your project.

I just double checked my DML 1/48 Ho229B Nachtjäger, and it doesn't have any Ruhrstahl X-4 missiles in it. Instead, it has 4 completely different HS298 missiles.

I will get the Ruhrstahl X-4 missiles out of one of my Ta-183 Huckebein kits.

Sorry about sending you on a snipe hunt.  I should have taken time to check the details further.  :/

That's great, thanks chaps. Certainly looks good so I'll be sure to visit!

If you are feeling a bit "peckish" after you finish with your shopping at Emil's, I would recommend travelling down the hill from Skyway into Renton and visit a restaurant called Jimmy Mac's Roadhouse to enjoy a "pound of flesh" washed down with your favourite adult beverage.  Depending on the time of day that you visit Skyway Model Shop the traffic might be a only slightly annoying to downright impossible to comprehend.  So it might be in your best interest to just sit it out for a spell and doing that at the aforementioned eating establishment will go a very long way towards reducing the stress of driving in Seattle traffic.

  4. Skyway Model Shop located just south of Seattle in Skyway-Renton will be your best option.  Emil is the owner/operator and he stocks a lot of interesting things including acquisitions from estate sales.

Address/location, hours of operation and contact information can be found at this link to his web page: Skyway Model Shop
Those are shields to deflect cartridge casings away from the belly tank.  You're right, they're not in the instructions but they are visible in the marking and painting profiles.
7. In both kits there are two oddly shaped parts numbered "16" and "17" which are not called out for use in the instructions.  Does anyone know what these vaguely trapezoidal shaped parts are for?  My first thought that it was intended to extend the height of the vertical stabilizer as an extension of the extant fin cap but that turned out to be a dead end as it lacks the length and width for that purpose.

I have gone through both instruction sheets carefully page by page to the point that my eyes are now watering.

This was also posted to the General Discussion forum to expand coverage.

  9. I would like to relieve you of these three kits:

    Hasegawa

    AU-1 Corsair                                                      S/I                    $35

    F4U-5 Corsair (2 available)                               S/I                    $20

    Nope, does not help :)

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I have the Revell Snap-Tite Warthog.  I purchased four of the things, gave away the stupid noise making-flashing light things that were included in the kit to a friend for her son.  Then I discovered later on when I started to build the things (or should I say assemble) that all four kits are missing the clear parts.  Still waiting for Revell to reply.

A follow-up to the above post.

I now know why I am missing the clear parts from the first four Warthog kits that I acquired several years ago.  The recent delivery of two NIB Revell Warthog kits from an on-line retailer highlights my own ignorance with regards to the kit contents.  Revell packaged the Warthog kit in a series of sealed bags for the majority of the small parts and the larger parts were held in place  on two vacu-formed clear plastic support frames (for lack of a better description).  These two support frames supported the body, chassis, and two additional parts while the rest of the contents were free to roam within the security of the individually sealed bags within the kit box.  One of the support frames has a "pocket" and within this pocket resides the clear windscreen for the Warthog.  Thanks to my poor vision and dodgy lighting conditions I managed to throw out all four of these windscreen parts still secure in the vacu-form clear plastic support frame and not even realize I had missed that important piece of the kit.  Yeah, the ID10T light is shining bright for me today as I type this to clear up any prior accusations that Revell somehow was at fault with quality control issues.  Nope, it was by my own hand that this catastrophe was created.  Knowing this now to be the case it still sucketh greatly that I had to learn this mistake the hard way.
