  1. Squdaron has the SUU-14 available in resin as part of their True Detail line of accessories which includes the SUU-14 dispensers, LAU-3 Rocket launchers (7x70mm FFAR), wing pylons, and the SUU-11 minigun pods as separate items that will all work towards improving your Monogram Skyraider.
  2. (This topic started on BritModeller and I am adding it here to get more coverage on this rather elusive subject) Golf and Alpha Bombs, RhAF Aircraft Ordnance developed by Rhodesia Other than a couple of wordy descriptions on the weapons and a rather poor quality image (very small format) there appears to be little else available on-line to show what these weapons looked like. While the Golf Bomb was carried by the Hunters and a smaller version of that same weapon design was carried by the Cessna-Reims 337 Skymasters there appears to be little else known about the Golf Bomb. The one im
  3. you may want to try and ask that question over on Missing-Lynx, Track-Link, or HyperScale (Tank Talk) where there are actual armor discussion forums.
  4. Thanks for the clarification. Solved the mystery on why Academy does not have that listed on their web page. Sorry, but I will have to pass on this opportunity since I already have three of the Accurate Miniatures sets in protective custody.
  5. Looks like you nailed it with the Panther parts.
  6. PM sent on the 1/48 US WW2 Armament Set with Ground Service Equipment ( Academy #9900 )
  7. Any chance of establishing a price for this package in lieu of trying to trade something for it?
  8. Tired of waiting for AFV Club to make good on their promise?
  9. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=187564 PM and eMail sent on the new topic with same subject
  10. Anyone have a couple to spare? Would like to acquire several for a project that is not a 1/32nd scale Tornado. So for those of you that have built that kit and have the MW-1 sitting in your spare parts box taking up space, I would like to relieve you of your burden. Willing to trade for the things, buy outright, or accept as a gift. Your call. But any and all offered will be appreciated. If the thing is built and painted, it won't matter since what I have in mind will require tearing it back into two parts.
  11. Before Revell of Germany offered that Aircraft Shelter another German company by the name of Preiser was selling pretty much the same shelter as a kit in whatever scale Preiser was making models. They were smaller than the Roco brand miniatures and definitely not HO scale.
  12. Any possibility of seeing some of these weapon shapes in 1/144th scale and perhaps some other weapons suitable for 1/48th scale?
  13. Found the kit in the local hobby shop. It has all of the original F-14A parts, the F-14D parts and now the F-14B parts.
  14. I hope you can find one in Australia. If that does not work out for you, contact me by eMail or PM via this forum.
  15. Yes, but it was a very long time ago and in another life ;^) Hayes Hobbies is another shop that you should consider on your next visit to Fayetteville. Mike Starling (member here on ARC) I believe is the manager of that shop and a good guy to know.
  16. Scott, Great looking ramp. Might be a little late with this suggestion but there is a member by the name of Lemonjello that shared a technique a few years back for creating non-skid surfaces. He was using some kind of "terra-cotta" paint which after application dried with a unique texture that looked pretty convincing for a non-skid surface. Lemonjello was the member that built the AV-22 Osprey gunship, not sure where that WIP/finished model is hiding but he did show pictures of the paint after application to the deck of his Osprey.
  17. Anyone have an image or three showing a Super Frelon with machine guns mounted? Especially interested in the mounts and how they are attached to the deck and walls of the aircraft. Thanks,
  18. Tim, How many seats are you selling for $8.00? The KMC molds for this item were sold to Squadron and are now available under the True Details brand name.
  19. The decision was made early this morning on WHIF and Mr. Glenn Williston aka Darkclaw, aka MilitaryAircraftModeler is now banned.
  20. The item in your image is supposed to represent a 1/35th scale propellant container for the bag charges used in separate loading artillery pieces such as the 155mm or 203mm howitzers. Verlinden and others have offered these things in resin. AFV Club includes a set of these things with their M548 Tracked Cargo Carrier and they are avilable for sale as a separate accessory item that includes the 155mm and 203mm projectiles with projectile storage pallets.
  21. If you need sheet plastic for your vac-u-form machine you can order it from VAC-U-FORM.com which also offers replacement parts and some upgrades for the Mattel machine. A friend of mine on WHIF provided this link to me a couple of months ago when I found an almost new in box machine in the local Good Will store for $6.00.
