  1. PM inbound for:VM Decals E-2C Hawkeye "West Coast Hawkeye's (#72-003) = $8.00
  2. I've dug out my old early F-16A kit, traded to get the larger tails, and now need different markings. As the topic states, I'm looking for the markings for either of those units. Please let me know what you have. Thanks....
  3. OOPS......After you posted this, I thought, wait a minute, that's the kit that has the BC markings, so I checked. It's the Italeri OA-10A kit, not the Academy (I have both). Sorry about that. Didn't mean to steer you in the wrong direction. It's kit no. 097.
  4. The only BC Warthog markings in 1/72 I've seen was on the newer Academy kit. If there are others out there I'd be interested in seeing what they are. Maybe someone with the Acad. kit won't be using theirs. I will be mine. Good luck...
  5. In addition to that site, there is this one: http://www.model-making.eu/index.php While the other site is the 'go to' site, this site has some of the ones missing from it.
  6. The company I work for, then NWL Control Systems, used to make the control section of the missile. I don't have any personal photos, but did find the following photos on the web. The engine nozzle just goes through the middle of the tail section with the housing that are attached to the fins on the outboard inside. The photos are of live rounds and, although small, look to be just like I remember seeing them when they were shipped to Hughes (except with no nozzle going through). http://cdn.wn.com/pd/c1/73/759cf384e912b81...71a5_grande.jpg http://www.307bw.afrc.af.mil/shared/media/...F-8
  7. I'm making a few assumptions, but the F-14 should be a Bravo from VF-103. The Hornets could be one of three squadrons- VFA-34,81, or 83. If you look at the S-3 at the end of the video you can see an S-3 of VS-30 (Diamondcutters) with 'AA' tail markings. When it was deployed with those markings as part of CVW-17 it had those squadrons on the deck with it, probably on the Kennedy.
  8. Never mind...clicking 'Impatient?' opens it..
  9. Is it just me, or is there a problem opening the old site from the link?
  10. Here are some photos I found of Michigan Voodoo gate guards, not of RF-101s though: http://www.warbirdsandairshows.com/images/...f-101-96w-1.jpg http://www.warbirdsandairshows.com/images/...f-101-96w-2.jpg http://www.warbirdsandairshows.com/images/...f-101-96w-4.jpg
  11. Now this is what I call a disruptive paint scheme. It's hard to see the lines of the plane. http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...d7fa2a6736515e0 http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...d7fa2a6736515e0 http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...d7fa2a6736515e0 http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...d7fa2a6736515e0
  12. Here is a decal sheet that has the scheme on it. It has the colors identified, if it's accurate (I assume it is). http://www.modelingmadness.com/scotts/decals/yh/yh48031.htm
  13. The local Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids TV news stations have been extensively covering this story. It sound like the boy was not only a great athlete, but was also a great kid. It is a very tragic story. My heart goes out to the family and community.
  14. The Fujimi kit is a good kit, for sure. The cockpit and seats aren't up to the Has. standard. It is a much easier kit to build and does look great. It also has two engines with stands that can be displayed and has air to air weapons. I still give the edge to the Has. kit.
  15. You must be seeing a different Sprue Brothers than I do. When I go there, I see the Has. Tomcat kit #544 at $26.49 USD and the Academy kit at $27.99. The Academy kit does come with weapons where the Has. doesn't. Almost the same. The Has. kit is the better kit.
  16. Here's something that was on the web. It shows the photo at the bottom of the page: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread205578/pg1
  17. Just want to give a shout out to a great guy..Matt. He helped me with some missing Hornet parts, not once, but twice, asking for nothing in return. His generosity is an example of some of the great people that are at this site. Thanks again Matt!
  18. If your deal doesn't work out, Superscale's website has the sheet for sale there: http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/mercha...;Category_Code=
  19. I noticed, too, that there seems to be more of the top gone than just the hinge points. I have a book that has a photo of a Tomcat being pulled out of the drink and it appeared to have all of the turtleback there, so I don't know why this one is different.
  20. PM sent for: {1} K36 F-111E Aardvark " BICENTENIAL " open ,loose parts / complete $10.
  21. I missed the review and hadn't seen the markings before. Thanks for the posting of the review.
  22. 23. Maybe not enough to go on, but here are the rest of the photos of that Marine Delta from the site where the first one came from: http://www.amv83.fr/Navycag/vmfa/VMFAW242/CO2010-1.jpg http://www.amv83.fr/Navycag/vmfa/VMFAW242/CO2010-2.jpg http://www.amv83.fr/Navycag/vmfa/VMFAW242/CO2010-3.jpg There must be more photos out there of this plane.....
  24. Seems like I have that sheet sitting in the box with my Thud......
  25. Decal makers.....looks like we need these: http://www.amv83.fr/Navycag/vmfa/VMFA115/2009/CAG2009-3.jpg http://www.amv83.fr/Navycag/vmfa/VMFAW242/CO2010-4.jpg
