  1. Hi Guys I'm more of a browser than a poster in the forums, but I just had to stick in a post about this model, absolutely one of the finest pieces on model making I've seen in a very long time! amazing!! can't wait to see the finished article!
  2. Incredible work, I'm kinda new here and the quality of this blows me away, lighting aside (engines are unbelievable) the weathering and overall finish are top drawer too. Can't wait for your next project!
  3. Thanks for the advice Tom, space and noiese are my main issues at the moment but not an issue going forward (in the process of moving house!) so thanks for the advice on Airbrushes, it looks like it's the way to go. I'll post the results when done, thanks again :-)
  4. Hi, New to the forum today, After growing up making many model kits (with varying degrees of success) I rekindled the hobby after visiting the Concorde exhibition just outside Edinburgh. I'm embarking on my first model kit in over 15 years, the 1:144 scale Airbus A380 "Emirates" from Revell. I've used standard Revell paints and brushes but the finished quality of the paintwork is as far as i'm concerned very poor, streaky and uneven, I can't manage a smooth finish however careful I am. I was wondering if any of you guys could give me some tips for getting the best finishes possible. I hav
