  1. It comes with the wingtips & also the unpointed rudder & different tail parts.
  2. Wow. Thanks to everyone. Looks like Spitfire info is as complicated as the Luftwaffe stuff.
  3. Thanks. Looks like an OOB build of a warbird.
  4. Hi I've received the Tamiya Mark XVIe kit. I'm more of a jet fan so I don't know alot about Spitfires. 1. Shouldn't all versions have the wheel bulge on the wing? Of the three schemes only the bare metal version is shown as having the bulge, the two 1945 versions don't. 2. The kit includes the pieces to show the elliptical wings instead of the clipped & has the non pointed rudder, can any other versions be built using these? I'm not a fan of the pointed rudder. Thanks
  5. Wayne If you read it, I said after I let go. I probably should have said after I let go of the brakes.
  6. The thing that surprises me the most is that apparently the brakes aren't powerful enough to at least slow the car down. I don't think I've ever encountered a car that could overpower it's brakes like that. My first car was a 65 Buick Skylark Gran Sport with the big honking engine and drum brakes. I could hold the brake pedal down, floor the gas pedal & the car didn't go anywhere. Lots of tire smoke though & nice black lines after I did let go
  7. Tornado I wasn't referring to the cars at all, every manu. has recall problems. I was referring to the way the news is reporting each case & the way Congress is deciding they have to investigate one but not the other.
  8. Hi I'll start off by saying I drive a Ford Fusion. I find it kind of funny that GM recalling thousands of Cobalts & the Pontiac equivalent for steering problems is being ignored. On announcement in the news & it's on to Toyota.
  9. Found it. If you would like it, send me a message. I live in the Milwaukee, WI area.
  10. Hi Pete I may have an extra Cutting Edge coaming & instrument panel I could send you. You could see if the coaming fits the BB panel or use both. I need to check in the basement, I'll know for sure tomorrow.
  11. He wants $4,500.00 dollars for it, but it's only $20.00 to ship?

    Winter Stukas

Cool, thanks guys. Now maybe I can get out of this block I have on the kit.

    Winter Stukas

Does anyone know of a manufacturer that has Stuka G-1 (or -2) decals that show the plane in winter schemes? I have the Hasegawa 1/32nd kit & would love to do it that way. None of my books have good photos that I can use.
  14. Hi Pete Very nice start. I am also working on this kit right now, with the Avionix pit, too! I used Polly Scale French Light Blue (#505242) for my base color & I'm detail painting all the hoses, etc. One thing to look out for - The pit will sit a little too far back right out of the box, use some shims between the pit spine & the fuselage spine to get the little steps in the pit to line up with the fuselage side steps. Man, I hope that makes sense. Anyway, you're looking good.
  15. Chris Just checked the sheet, it's there. I have'nt reallt gone over the stuff because the kit isn't here yet. Now I really can't wait. No need to spank Zactowoman (unless you want to).
  16. Hi Chris Just got my A-7 set, awesome work! I just wish it didn't beat the kit to the door. Looks like you're still behind on PE, I didn't get any in the set. No matter, I still haven't received the kit. Thanks
  17. Hi Chris Sent my order in. I haven't received my kit yet, so speed filling my order is not needed. Thanks
  18. Hi TF51gregwise I'm just starting my Tamiya Mustang & came here to see which panel lines get filled, but there are no pictures. Have they been deleted? BTW, it looks like you have what I would consider the best job in the world. Thanks
  19. Hi Eric First off, thanks for the info. I did look at the WEM ameiro, but it's a Nakajima color. I'm doing a Mitsu Zero, so I'm not sure if it's OK.
  20. I'm building Tamiya's A6M2 (Pearl Harbor) & have WEM paints. Brian Criner's book recommends the Mitsu Navy Grey, but to my eyes the Mitsu Grey-Green may match the boxtop illustration better. Anyone have ideas as to which is actually closer? Thanks
  21. Hey guys Meteor Productions has released seamless intakes for the F-4 family. They look a lot like the Seamless Suckers intakes, I've got orders for each one so I should be able to compare. The best thing is that they aren't rare. They do cost a couple of bucks more tho.

    Help!!

I'm trying to put the Black Box cockpit in my Academy F-16 CJ & have run into a problem I can't find any info on. It seems the glareshield sits so far forward that the shape interferes with the canopy. Has anyone successfully built this combo? If so, how do I fix it? Pictures would be a huge help. Thanks
  23. Contact Resine has resin wheels for the kit. You can get them at Design & Marketing International.
