  3. sweet, thanks.......... now i have to decide what to do about the back, i am thinking about making rear facing guns, or perhalps early radar warning equiptment, or do you think the cone is fine? i am considering making it with a similar mission to a EB-66
  4. hhhhmm, i just got an italeri yb-49 at a good price, what are your opinions about a what if bird in sea camo? should i do any mods to it? i am strongly considering it since i want something different. i can imagine it with sea camo over black, and red tail codes. if so, what b-52 decal sheet should i get?
  5. Rats, I just tried to do it, did not come out as planned. (very blurry) I will try again on monday when I have time to set things properly. again sorry.
  6. I do, but no scanner, would a photograph be helpful? If so I will do it tonight.
  7. OK, it makes sence now. The pics you have are obviously updated. My book was a walk around book published in 1991. (my book is old) I also found a couple more pages, it covers many aircraft, and the organization is kinda scatter brain. Russian aircraft are new to me, but I have a book, so I thought I could give a definative answer. Sorry to confuse you, I feel like an idiot. quote 1 says "C has short nose, RWR". 2 "Standard production variant today is the Su-24M FencerD, elongated nose" The picture next to this one shows fences, so you are right. 3 shows a pic like your p
  8. BTW, about wing fences: If i remember they were added to add stability on M prototypes. Later, in service i think, they were removed on some planes. I will read and see if i can find more details on this, but this is what i remember. PS: My bet is that those wierd things are just extra big rivets or some kind of the construction part if you know what i mean. I don't know if you put this one to rest, but if I can help I will. according to my refrence, a book I own the M did not have fences. the main diffrence between the M and others is the front gear door. It also has fearings on the ta
  9. Are those the same airframe? They came up in the google search (top pic from the first page, 2 img on the same site) HTH, Austin No, but those are what Mr. Moore was speaking of. On my search I actually found a model of one in Turkey colors. oops, I did not see he actually responded to you, sorry.
  10. I did the search and came up dry, only the same photo I have. Actually this kit is very nice. it has engraved panel lines, and good detail, it looks just like the weird photo.
  11. I have this in my stash, should I paint it how ever I want? or was it a real helicopter? The photos look fake.
  12. actually they live in AZ, and they are green or dk brown here.
  13. That looks pretty cool already, I may have to pick one up. My two questions, 1. Are there alot of parts? 2. What happened to your monster Hip?
  14. Concord only has the last few pages on helicopters, but the walk around has photos of an F, both sides, front and back, as well as a Hip. (the same). Concord is more taylored towards the armor modeler, but the pics they choose count, no matter what they do, and pics are what we want. Flankerman, I have the tittle "Modern Soviet Warplanes," By Steve Zaloga and that is one of two tittles they do on aircraft. Eventhough it was published in 1991, it is a very good refrence on aircraft, even shows some good detail on Iraqi Jets (walk around). I highly recomend it. sorry, but the point of my la
