  1. Another question about the aforementioned Mig-15. What is the popular opinion on the use of a sky/light blue paint for the underside of the plane vs. it being left natural metal?
  2. Thanks for the color suggestions. Also thank you Jennings for the tip about the upper wing markings or lack there of. Steve
  3. Looking at Richard Chafer's Mig-15 article I was curious as to what colors were used for the camoflage. http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Gal4/3701-3800/gal3762_MiG-15_Chafer/00.shtm Anyone have any ideas on what colors those are? I would guess during the Korean War that the camo was applied in the field and was probably what ever color could be scrounged up. Steve
  4. I'm looking for the Revell 1/32 Spitfire Mk I/II kit that was released a few years ago. It is kit# 5516 and is a reboxing of the Hasegawa Spit featuring new engraved wings. This kit: http://www.modelingmadness.com/scotts/alli...pit1preview.htm If you have one let me know. Thanks, Steve
  5. 1st Lt. John Drummond (510th FS, 405th FG) was shot down in his personal P-47D 'Raid Hot Mama' on July 26 1944. Although I can't find any photos that show it would his plane have had invasion stripes?
  6. If they are available on the web, then I have them. Airwar.ru is among the first places that I stop when looking for drawings.
  7. Has anyone seen the full drawing that is shown in this picture? http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attachment....chmentid=474031 I emailed the builder, but he doesn't have the drawings any more (old build). Steve
  8. That build is amazing. I've got the Czech Model Skyknight kit in the stash and several dry fittings have revealed it is a bear to build. Well done Eric!!!!!
  9. I'm looking for this old Eagle Strike Productions sheet. If you have it and wouldn't mind selling it let me know. Steve
  10. Jennings, You need to correct your 6-3 wing drawing as it shows the aileron ending before the wing tip (similar to the F-40 wing). It should go all the way out to the end of the wing like the early narrow slatted wing and the later Saber 6 slatted 6-3 wing. http://f-86.tripod.com/wings.html Steve
  11. I paid for my order on October 5th after availability was confirmed and paid for it via Paypal (which tried to tack on an additional $5 for shipping and handling over the $3 that you already charge). This was Paypal transaction ID: 3FY77766HE192464U. It's now 4 days later and the order still shows as "awaiting payment". Is this normal? My order number is: 1254670397 Steve
  12. I've managed to find two pictures of Maj. Robinson Risner's Korean War F-86E "Ohio Mike/Little Mike". Both pictures are in Warren Thompson's F-86 Sabre Aces of the 4th Fighter Wing. Both photos show the starboard side artwork, but I can't seem to find any photos of the port side. Does anyone have any pictures of the port side of FU-824 before it was lost? Thanks, Steve
  13. I'm looking for these older Aeromaster sheets. 48-278 Korean War Sabres Part 3, and 48-446 Korean War Sabres Part 4. If you have either or both and want to sell let me know. Thanks, Steve
  14. I'm looking for these Fox One Decals. If you have them and don't plan on using them let me know. Thanks, Steve
