  1. Sounds good! Now if we can get some pics of the sprues......
  2. Sorry, my bad. For some reason I thought it said somthing about imports or somthing. I am real tired. Thanks alot for the information Linden Hill! I think I might have to get a set. Wait, PM inbound! Jake
  3. Thanks for the info Alby! By the way, great job on your African Hind, it looks great! I just looked at Linden Hill's website, found all the 1/48 decals and am now trying to find a US importer. Jake
  4. AHHHHHH! Can't wait to start!!! I am going to build a 1/72 MH-47E(I think) and finnish my 1/72 MH-53J that I have about 20% done on. I think that is within the limits we made for the rules..... Jake
  5. Hello, I am going to come right out and say I know nothing about the Hind helicopter, so I may be wrong in what I say, I think I am going to buy a Revell Mi-24D hind(1/48) and was wondering if that helicopter was used in Russia's Afgan. operation? If so are there any decals for the helicopter used in that operation? My third and hopefully last question is, are there decals avalible for the first Hind that was shot down? Again, due to the fact that I know NOTHING about the Hind I would look on my own. I am doing some research right know on the different Hind helicopters and so on. Thanks, J

  11. Looks just like you painted it! Jake
  12. Don't worry, I am not that anal about my models. I just did not want a HUGE difference, like total difference. I will get the set and go. Make it look the best I can and live with it. If a real rivet counter comes along and says, "hey, that isn't right you have to many instruments for an F4U-1A of that time period." I'll cut him off and say thanks for looking! Jake
  13. At first I was like, MAGIC MARKERS!?!?! It does look really good for the use of markers. Jake
  14. Hello, In a few weeks I am going to start on a 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A corsair. My question is will the F4U-1D eduard color PE work for an F4U-1A??? I know the cockpit has a few variations but overall, do you think that they would work together? I only ask as I do not wan to buy a PE set and let it go to waste, at least until I buy a 1/48 F4U-1D. Thanks alot. Jake
  15. Nope, I think it looks good where it is.
  16. Nice looking bird! Jake
  17. Unless you want to get decals made for a 1/48th bird or build a 1/72 HH-53C, you SOL until you can find a kit. Jake
  18. That is good to know! You just savde me money. Jake
  19. Great review! As I don't know as much about the CH-47A's as I do the D's I still think they kind of slipped in a few spots. Anyways it looks to be a great kit. I sure do hope that some one will come out with P.E. for this kit and any future kits that they release. As you said, to me the fuel tanks on the side look a bit large but again I am not an expert on the early birds(nor am I on todays but I have spent hours with them as wel as family that flew them). When it comes to looking back and forth at the towers, they have changed alot between the A model and the D's that are in use today. Can n
