Sweet job on the weathering! I am going to try this for sure!!! Did you use regular chalk or hobby chalk? You put a clearcoat on after you added the chalk, right? Great job!

I sure do hope so!!! Jake

Thanks. Those are the older markings they carried. In fact, those are the markings they carried in Bosnia(I think that is the right country). Better than no decals though! Jake

Hi, I just traded for a 1/48 Legend products A-10 cockpit detail set and I am going to break open one of the warthog kits. I want to do one in Spang(base located in Bitburg) decals, just can not find any. If any one knows where a set can be had, let me know! I would like to build it up as one in the A-stan theater markings. Thanks for the information. Jake

Win some ya lose some..... Jake -
Hello, Thanks for the replys. I would rather build the Hasegawa F/A-18A but have no way to get one with out spending some 75.00 USD. In really do not want to spend that much. If I could get one on a trade or for like $40.00 I would ****** it right up!!! So far no luck getting one. Jake

Yes people can do the same model as each other. As for the start date, no, you do not have to start on that day. I will be gone for the first 14 days of June in Nassu and down at Ft.Walton beach(I think I spelled that right). Hope this helps you out. Jake

You are crazy doing that great of work in that small of scale. Keep up the great work!!! Jake

Nope, it's right. The official start day is June 1/08 - January 1/09. Hope this clears things up. Jake

Well, I can now say I have seen it all! Jake -
Hello Everybody, I have done some research on the Hobby Boss F/A-18A and it looks accurate to the untrained eye, so I think will be a good kit. What I DON'T KNOW is how it fits, goes together and all the other little things that go along with building it. Thanks for the insight. Jake

Cool beans! We need to get all the people we can to join, bigger the better, well most of the time. Jake
