  2. Without sounding funny I was told by one of my old instructors when I was in school at Nellis. Others that take care of themselves show little signs of wear long past retirement, continue to go for decades. While a third group get rode hard beat up and punched down,go to the specialists to get shots and surgery, repaired and reconditioned so they can keep going long after t

  7. UPDATE: part 2... Guys I am at a loss here. I want to make sure that nothing gets crushed but we have several kits that are either in boxes that are collapsed or in zip bags... do you want me to include them or pull them out, as I am afraid they will go the route of the S-3 Viking that I pulled out a round or two ago, the fuse was cracked in several places... Let me know. ok I have pulled the 3 kits that were bagged, added a load of decals and more of my holo-film, both the green and pearl. swapped a book and just about caused SWMBO to have a c heart attack as she saw the size of the b
  8. I tell you guys this box is crammed to the gills, Took the Misawa viper that Rogar added as well as the F-18F and the other set of F-15 burner cans. Adding a pair of monogram 1/48th kits, F-4c/d and P-51D Also adding a pair of DML Arado's in 72nd. Have to check to see if I have anything else that may fit before I ship it off... I have to say that some of these kits may have to get pulled out because the box is now huge. Kinda like Tetris for model fanatics. William G

  13. All I can say is that a while ago Doug Drexler was talking about them. So I priced a pair. I wanted to get a pair of the metal framed ones but they were a bit more pricey than I can afford. I found that the drugstore ones I use I have to turn upside down so I can actually look under them for some work and not having to strain over them. At 45 my eyes are not as bad as they can be but every year that scrip gets bigger. this year I have to have my reading tested so I can see if I actually need reading glasses. Besides My vision plan wont cover the Superfocus ones. William G

  22. Sheldon Cooper: What is the best number? By the way, there's only one correct answer. Raj Koothrappali: Five million, three hundred eighteen thousand and eight? Sheldon Cooper: Wrong. The best number is 73. You're probably wondering why. Howard Wolowitz: No. Raj Koothrappali: We're good. Sheldon Cooper: 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th, and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying - hang on to your hats - seven and three. Heh? Heh? Did I lie? Leonard Hofstadter: We get it. 73 is the Chuck Norris of numbers. Sheldon Cooper: Chuck Norris wishes. In binary, 73
