On a side note...any interest in starting a sub forum dedicated to folks teaming up to buy a decal sheet, especially considering the size and breadth of some current manufacturer's printing style (i.e. wolfpak, furball, etc.)? nick

M8A1 matting was the corrugated steel matting that replaced pierced steel planks (PSP). Anyone know of a company that makes M8A1 matting displays? I know italeri and others have 1/72 PSP matting displays, but this is for a Vietnam era aircraft. Any suggestions on scratch building a M8A1 base for 1/72? Nick

Any suggestions out there on a replacement canopy for a 1/72 A-7 corsair? I see no vac formed aftermarkets for A-7s or F-8s. I'd like to avoid buying another model and I'd like to not have to try to make my own vac canopy? How about a F-4 phantom or mig-21 canopy? Close enough? Posing it open. I've got the windscreen, just trying to solve a missing canopy problem. Thanks for any help.
