    Group decal buys

    Anyone interested in going in on a set of Werner's Wings 1/35 decals 35-04 or 35-06?  I only want the MH-6M decals.

     

    On a side note...any interest in starting a sub forum dedicated to folks teaming up to buy a decal sheet, especially considering the size and breadth of some current manufacturer's printing style (i.e. wolfpak, furball, etc.)?

    M8A1 matting in 1/72

    M8A1 matting was the corrugated steel matting that replaced pierced steel planks (PSP). Anyone know of a company that makes M8A1 matting displays? I know italeri and others have 1/72 PSP matting displays, but this is for a Vietnam era aircraft. Any suggestions on scratch building a M8A1 base for 1/72?

    Replacement A-7 canopy

    Any suggestions out there on a replacement canopy for a 1/72 A-7 corsair? I see no vac formed aftermarkets for A-7s or F-8s. I'd like to avoid buying another model and I'd like to not have to try to make my own vac canopy? How about a F-4 phantom or mig-21 canopy? Close enough?

    Posing it open. I've got the windscreen, just trying to solve a missing canopy problem.
