sorry for the late reply. been too busy at work... and thanks for the replies. to be honest, i didnt have a clue of the weapon type... still noob when comes to russian equipment so i can say that all the weapon in the zvezda kit will be useless if i want to make the D version. Is that right?? is there another alternative?? am weapon or perhaps a good old kit of the D version... will try to find a D version....

Hi fellas, i need some help about type of weapon used in hind D. I have the new zvezda hind E kit (1/72) and i one to convert it to D version with the Czechoslovakia tiger marking. My question is what type of weapon is put on the wing pylon? IF any of the weapons supplied in the zvezda kit can be used?? what can i look for?? thanks

a few more slow update... it's already passed i corrected the ejection handle from red to yellow/black stripe. It's still glossy in the photo. I already 'unglossed' it last night but forgot to take photo. and the tip of the rudder which suffered from wrinkled decals are fixed. I just sanded them smooth and painted.. the problem is i dont get good yellow match... and the formation light is gone... not a problem coz i got spares.... more slow progress afterthis thanks for your support

Greg, great to see your back and the SLUF to.. this is one heck of a job man.. i love it.... the weapons is awesome.... and now it's just waiting for the pilot to get the head glue in.... Cantik dan menarik.....

some progress last night.. Basically i just treat the decal with SS a few times. Then i polish the foggy canopy with AutoSol.... and it does make the foggy gone but not 100%. Will try to Future it later... The payload are almost ready. I choose AIM-9, AGM-45 and AGM-65 apart from 2 300 gal drop tank... more progress to come... thanks for looking

Mr. TOmcat Fan, thanks for your comments. I had to agree with you with the 'style' of this cat. I knew it was not right on the real cat... but i guess i like the cat with wing unswept and canopy opened and all slat and flap down... at least i used most of the kit parts... :) about the phoenix launcher, yeah.... somebody already mentioned it... and it's too late now to remove it.... the eye must be getting old these day........ and thanks all for your kind words.... i will try to do my best to correct whatever that gone wrong except for the launcher and the style.... right now i'm preparing

Finally the controversial decal arrived. It was Modeldecal set 15. At first I'm so worry because the decal was printed in 1980. SO carefully i laid the first small decal and to my surprise, it detached easily from the backing paper. It respond very well to Microset and Microsol. So after 1 hour, I completed decalling and then give them microset treatment. Here's some of the photos... I love the Stingers........ Afterthis, a few clear coat and Ordnance... Will try to finish this by this week. Thanks for looking Zaidi
