  1. Iron Eagle 2 ripped the final mission directly from Star Wars.
  2. I'm currently weathering my Spitfire mkV and want to simulate chipped paint with a silver pencil. Where can I find them and any particular brand I should look for. Also any tips on how to best use them would be helpful. Thanks.
  3. It's probably a safe bet to match the style on the upper wing surface.
  4. I got it just fine. Not like is was subtle or anything. However it doesnt change his criticism of WW2 films that aren't realistic. You recognised his sarcasm but missed the point of his post.
  5. How do you make anti-freeze? Take her blanket.
  6. You can't seriously compare these two movies. Pearl Harbor was an (poor)attempt to inject drama and special effects onto a real historical event. Basterds was a tounge-in-cheek adventure set durring WW2. It was not meant to be the slightest bit historical. What is your opinion of Kelly's Heroes? Would you critisize Blazing Saddles for not being a "true potrait of the old west"? A historic setting does not nessassryly mean that said film should be historical in nature. On the other hand a historical film should try to be historicaly accurate. That is where Pearl Harbor failed, where Tora, Tora
  7. Your link isnt good, Bud. Try posting the complete URL.

No. You will need the K-4 style cowling. The circular bulges typicaly found on the G-6 and later G series 109s were designed to provide clearance for the larger 13mm cowl machine guns. The A/S model G series 109s used a more streamlined cowl to reduce drag, but the bulge is much more subtle compared to the standard late G series. The A/S cowling was standard on the Bf109K-4. G-2 With no bulges. G-6 With standard circular bulges. G-10 A/S with streamlined bulges.
  9. I once made a boat out of Lego's that looked like that.
  10. I'm looking to convert my 1/72 Hasegawa F-4S to a J model. Does anybody have a set of outer wings thay would like to trade or sell? PM me here if interested. Thanks and Cheers :cheers -Chris
  11. Id rather know all the issues with a kit and make a descision on the grounds of my own tastes. I taake shape issues on a case by case basis. Example: I would have no issue with a Hobby Boss A-7 or F-100 but I will NEVER touch an Academy F-14. Some mistakes fall under "close enough" and others are "not even close". Another example would be the Kinetic F-16, if I didn't already have a Tamiya kit I would cinsidder buying the Kinetic kit.
  12. Looks like a painting to me, not a real photo. Also note the white on the radome, on an overall gray aircraft, and the modex ending in 8.
  13. Political correctness asside, Galland and Rall should be honored with Luftwaffe squads taking their names.
  14. Let us AAAAYYYYYYYYY! :thumbsup
