I was thinking of building my Red Arrows Hawk from Revell.....but I think it would look like a toy by comparison

You know.....it really bugs me when people post pictures of actual aircraft and try to tell us they are models. That is absolutely insane. The cockpit looks incredible and I love the paint chipping in the wing folds. Outstanding.

Sod that! The OA-4M and TA-4J from Hasegawa are great kits....just need a little loving with a pinvise and needle

Hey all, I got a Zvezda 1:35th Russian KV-2 (Kit # 3608). This is my first experience with Zvezda and if what I have found in the box is any indication, will likely be my last. The bottom hull is built up from a flat bottom then add sidewalls and end plates. The problem is, the bottom plate which is supposed to be flat is severely warped on one end. I thought I could attach the sidewalls to hold the bottom in place but the problem is both sidewall pieces are hideously deformed as well. The parts are so badly misshapen that it renders the kit almost unbuildable. Is this a common problem wit

Yeah....agree with Vodnik.....such a gorgeous model with so much detail...yet something so simple as the seam line on the canopy was missed. This is proof that it doesn't matter how much aftermarket, how much scratch building, how much detail painting you do...it's the basics that makes or breaks a model

Alright...I'm finally getting in the mix with my build! This is one of the older boxings of the Revell F-15D/E. I am going to be building it up as an Oregon ANG F-15D. Here's the cockpit all finished and ready for business.

Lucas decided long ago that canon didn't count for crap in the Star Wars universe.

My first rescribe was a 1:32nd scale Hasegawa F-16C. It was a very easy rescribe, not a lot of small panels....but just tricky enough to give me confidence to try my hand at a Starfighter...still working on that one!

In other words.....stick with what you are good at. Brookhurst Hobbies is one of the most amazing hobby shops I have ever stepped foot in. It is literally like the Neiman Marcus of hobby shops. I've had similar experiences with their online site. My in laws live pretty close to the shop and I have looked at the site to see if they have something and sent the sister in law over to grab a "shipment" before her visit up to Seattle....almost every time she goes with my list of stuff gathered from the website, nothing is in stock. They should just stick to being an amazing brick and mortar hob

I think the best thing the NFL did was redo the divisions.....having Tampa Bay in the NFC Central, with Atlanta and New Orleans in the NFC West made no sense at all. There are still some head scratchers, but for the most part it's pretty close.

I have used a lot of Krylon spraying model rockets over the last couple years....and I absolutely hate it. I've completely gotten away from it and use only Valspar spray now. For models, I would stick with Tamiya Surface primer. Yeah, it's more expensive....but that stuff is liquid gold in a can

And just to throw you another curve ball.... LA Raiders are now the Oakland Raiders AGAIN after moving from Oakland to LA in 1982 and then returned to Oakland in 1994. St Louis Cardinals= Arizona Cardinals but before they settled on "Arizona" they were the Phoenix Cardinals...and yes, they sucked then too. And don't forget.... The Dallas Texans are now the Kansas City Chiefs.

No, the charity game and the skills contests replace the out dated crapfest of a Pro Bowl. Maybe even have one of them deals where celebs are like the refs or something....to get the public interested in it. Every time the quarterback drops back to pass and hits a Kardashian in the face with the ball it's like scoring a safety....you get two points, bonus points if it results in a broken nose or black eye.
