  11. A friend and I are doing a mini-group build of the ROG 1/48 Eurofighter. I've decided to mount my on a stand (in-flight) and wanted to make it look as interesting as possible. I figured I can have it approaching a tanker for re-fueling, therefore the re-fueling probe can be extended. However, I have a couple of questions (for you EF-2000 experts); 1) Would the speedbrake ever be open during re-fueling (part way), maybe when first approaching for hook-up? 2) Which exhaust nozzles should I be using? The closed down ones, or the wide open ones (closed, I think). 3) What position would the
  12. I have the OEZ Frogfoot, but no instructions. Is anyone able to help me out with a scan or .pdf of your copy? Thanks in advance, Mark
  13. To convert a GIII (C-20B/C) to a GIV (C-20G) would require: -Slight fuselage stretch (I think and maybe another window) -New engines (RR Tays, bigger in diameter than the Spey's and different T/R arrangement) The wings were pretty close, if I remember correctly. The cockpit window arrangement is unchanged. Going to a GV (C-37) would be huge as it has a completely new wing, bigger tail, etc. (in addition to further fuselage stretch and even newer engines; BR710's). The GII had a smaller wing and different cockpit window arrangement. About half of the GII's have been modified with the GII
  14. Thanks Chris. Just knowing you got it at Michaels helps a lot. Do you foresee any problems with painting? I assume the screens will be installed prior to airbrushing .... just wondering how the ribbon will take the paint and whether it will retain its mesh characteristics (or do you plan to cover the ribbon)? Too bad Squadron doesn't have a suitable vacu-formed canopy ....
  15. Thanks for the tip. I'm working on my R/M F-117 now and was wondering about the "yellow windows" over the FLIR and DLIR. Do you have any additional information about the ribbon (type or brand)? Also, how do you plan to install/mount the ribbon over the opening? Thanks.
