  1. The F came out in 68, so it is possible that it made it but I have nothing that says either way. I don't think the E did make it as it came after the F. You would be safe with a A or D model instead for one that served in Vietnam. The is one sheet that I recall in 1/72 but the only Marine bird was from 163.

    HTH,

    Ryan

    Thanks Ryan!

A couple of friends and I are thinking about a "Vietnam" min-GB, guess it'll have to be a Huey for me then.. <_<

  2. Hey guys!

I recently won a Hobbyboss CH-46E/F at a model show. It comes with Marines markings, and I'd like

to know if this version was used in Vietnam? I've tried searching the web, but so far no luck.

Also, are there any aftermarket decals available for the CH-46 in 1/72 scale?

    Thanks a bunch, dudes!

  3. It's really interresting reading stuff like this, or watching them on the tellie. So far only Jennings

and Andrew has mentioned the Russians. They do have a lot of differrent helos, by far outnumbering

the popular Western types. For sure they are as good as them as well, but still not mentioned when

it comes to these kind of lists. I find it really strange..

Yes, the US do have great helos, just like the European companies, but the Russians do as well! :woot.gif:

    Just my two cents..

  4. You listen to Andre, he's got it all right.. :coolio:

Hasegawa is a pretty decent kit, but being 20+ years old, it can't really compete with

the Academy one. Just don't go for anything else than Academy or Hasegawa, the

    others aren't even close...

  5. I'm currently working, more or less, on 5-6 kits. Some more active than others.. :P

About 300 kits in the stash. Sounds a lot so far in this thread, but I've heard about

stashes 1500+ kits, so I'm not the worst yet at least... :coolio:

  6. Me too.

But with the pieces in the box you can only made a late RF-35 with glossy drab paint. On glossy Drakens wear was minimal.

AR-118 can be found on airliners.net with a spectacular and very weathered skin but to make it that way we would need a completely different nose cone without the RWR under the probe. Hope AIRES or MAESTRO will produce one soon. If not I will borrow a standard nose cone from a J35 kit to make a Danish weathered F-35 without cameras and RWR. Do do this I still need to understand how to remove chaff dispensers from tail cone, not an easy task. I can't simply change the tail cone with one from a J35 kit since, as you know, all Danish had the hook under it.

    Thanks

    Paolo

Ah, I see! As usual, you've done a whole lot of research, I can tell!

Looking forward to the more weathered Draken!
