Hey guys!
I recently won a Hobbyboss CH-46E/F at a model show. It comes with Marines markings, and I'd like
to know if this version was used in Vietnam? I've tried searching the web, but so far no luck.
Also, are there any aftermarket decals available for the CH-46 in 1/72 scale?
Thanks a bunch, dudes!

It's really interresting reading stuff like this, or watching them on the tellie. So far only Jennings
and Andrew has mentioned the Russians. They do have a lot of differrent helos, by far outnumbering
the popular Western types. For sure they are as good as them as well, but still not mentioned when
it comes to these kind of lists. I find it really strange..
Yes, the US do have great helos, just like the European companies, but the Russians do as well!
Just my two cents..

You listen to Andre, he's got it all right..
Hasegawa is a pretty decent kit, but being 20+ years old, it can't really compete with
the Academy one. Just don't go for anything else than Academy or Hasegawa, the
others aren't even close...

I'm currently working, more or less, on 5-6 kits. Some more active than others.. :P
About 300 kits in the stash. Sounds a lot so far in this thread, but I've heard about
stashes 1500+ kits, so I'm not the worst yet at least...

A really cool project you've got there!
Something like this is what my own Hornet collection is supposed to look like, sometime in the future..
The colors on your Kuwaiti Hornet looks a bit off though, and the roundels on the Swiss and Finnish ones are too big..
-
Be aware (but you probably know this already..) though, that the Spanish Hornet's are Alphas, not Charlies..
A very interesting project, will follow closely!

You should for sure be pleased with this one, it's definately one of the best Harriers I've ever seen in this scale!
Really well done on this one, it's a masterpiece!

Looks great, although a little too clean for my taste...

Nicely done, she looks great!

Really nice TPS paintjob on this one!
I think you could weather the weels a little more though, as now they look too clean..
But overall you've done a very good job!

I really like that subtle weathering on the tailboom from the engines. Well done!

Simply stunning Hornet! Amazing it's a small 1/72 scale model.. Well done!! :)

Really nice addition to an already great model! That little EPU (called Bragg in Swedish), looks just right!
-
Well, as always Janne, you've done a great job!
Just one thing though.. Doesn't really looks like she's standning flat
on the left hand main tyre...?

Reeaaally nice paintjob on this one, looks absolutely stunning!

Those pilots look really good, well done! :)

Oh my, oh my... So beautiful....!

You are one crazy dude, Aigore!! But nonetheless it looks really great so far..

Me too.
But with the pieces in the box you can only made a late RF-35 with glossy drab paint. On glossy Drakens wear was minimal.
AR-118 can be found on airliners.net with a spectacular and very weathered skin but to make it that way we would need a completely different nose cone without the RWR under the probe. Hope AIRES or MAESTRO will produce one soon. If not I will borrow a standard nose cone from a J35 kit to make a Danish weathered F-35 without cameras and RWR. Do do this I still need to understand how to remove chaff dispensers from tail cone, not an easy task. I can't simply change the tail cone with one from a J35 kit since, as you know, all Danish had the hook under it.
Thanks
Paolo
Ah, I see! As usual, you've done a whole lot of research, I can tell!
Looking forward to the more weathered Draken!

Looks as good as ever, Janne! I'll judge for sure on Friday, and tell if you should stay in the blessed 72nd scale, or go back to quarter scale... :D

This'll be a blast, just like usual! Looking forward to seeing it live this weekend!
