Yeah, you shouldn't try to give it a matte coat, and risking ruining it!
I would live with that as well..
-
A nicely done Hornet, although a little on the clean side on the belly under the engines..
-
Very, very beautiful Starfighter! You've done a great job with the Alclad, that's for sure!
Well done!!
-
Well done on the camo, this Viper looks great!
-
Nicely done on that camo, the faded effect looks just right! It looks a little bit on the glossy side though...?
All in all: Well done!
-
A really impressive Viggen, it sure looks great!
Just one thing though: with that weathered look on the paint, those decals ought to be weathered as well... ;)
Nevertheless, a Viggen very well done, my compliments!
-
Well, since it's been a while now, how's that Mirage coming along..?
-

Cheers,
Paulo Simas

Very nice work indeed and agree, RBF tags rule! They make so much difference when done correctly.
Thanks a lot Gary! So far only my first attempt at RBF tags, so there really is room for improvement, but it turned out ok in the end..
Wow! Those RBF tags sure brought this model to life man! Well done. Thanks Qian! ;) Will for sure try those tags again in the near future!
-
I really like the paintjob on this one, flawless! The weathering is outstanding!
-
Thanks guys!
I think it's those RBF-tags that makes you think it's quarter scale..
-
Agree with everyone, it looks just great! I especially like the subtle sun fading effect on the camo, nicely done!
-
Ok guys, so I've finally added some RBF-tags, and I must say it really made the difference, at least to me..
I ended up with adding 12 tags, on the landing gear, flare dispensers, covers, etc....
Tell me what you think! :)

I like Norway's Vipers. Their colors and scheme is simple yet sharp.
Thanks dude! :)
-
Really nice job on this one! Looks like you've got the paint demarcations right on the belly as well.
-
Really, really beautiful pics, I must say..! Are those air-to-air, or where have you taken those?
-
Nice going Gökhan, well done on the camo!
Interesting diorama as well, looks great.
-
Amazing, simply amazing! There are loads of advice in this WIP, I think we all can learn a great deal for future builds here. I know at least I have taken a few of the advice into practise, trying to rescribe a Heller 1/72 scale Viggen. Thanks for the scribing article, John, it really is useful!
Keep up the great work, this one will be a winner, I'm sure!
-
Now that's a really sweet MiG-29! The camo looks great, well done!
-
I must say, the colors on this Draken looks spot on! A really great
build, you should be proud.

You're right Gökhan, I'm actually considering some RBF-tags, for that final touch.. :)

One of the best Viper kit I have ever seen especially in 72 sale, well done.
Thanks Paolo! That means a lot, especially since I know how great builder you are!
Excellent Viper! I've got two of these RoG kits waiting in the wings.Well, come on then, bring'em on!!
I'm sure they'll be great as well!

Award winner though..? I'm not all that satisfied, actually.. :P
Not a real sucker for covers, but it does add a nice splash of colour on this bird !Sweet build Najk, already looking forward for that BM to show up.
"Check Six....."
Spooky.
(5 more day's...)
Thanks mate! I'm not all that into covers either actually, but the exhaust and inlet
on the Revell kit just isn't all that good, so I had to do something..! :P
Maybe I'll "spice it up" on the two-seater....
Nice one!Gotta love the Norwegian Vipers in their lighter greys.
For the BM, why not go for a TIGERRRRR?
I think you hacked into my mind somehow, Moritz..! That's the decals I'm thinking
about putting on my two-seater! Those are just too cool....

Nice build Paolo, great work on that Draken collection!
Although I would personally have preffered a little more weathered Danish Draken.. ;)
All in all: Well done on the RF-35!
