  7. Thanks for helping the rest of us avoid him!! I just blocked him from bidding on my listings.
  8. https://www.ebay.com/itm/232542110332?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 With the sad and untimely passing of RPD's owner /producer Keith Davidson, Red Pegasus Decals may never be available again.

  10. Within the USA, UPS Ground is a better choice for shipping large bulky kits, especially since tracking & insurance is included. I recently shipped a 1/16 IMEX V-2 at a price the buyer was more than happy with. Hth, Rob
  11. There are at least three available (at very good prices) on eBay right now.
  12. Nope, only by mail order from Cedar Creek Trading Post. They used to advertise regularly in Fine Scale Modeler, but I don't know if that's still true, as I haven't subscribed in years. If you want to e-mail me, I'll try to find the address from an old issue, one I get home from work Regards, Rob robowens208@gmail.com
  13. The only detail set produced was the Cutting Edge cockpit, and will set you back Big Bucks provided you can even find one for sale (I sold mine last year for $50, with not even a whimper from the buyer). Aftermarket USMC deals by Flying Leatherneck are in the works, but since so few examples of the Revell kit are out there, this might not come to pass.
  14. Dave, Thanks for the reply. Will be ordering a sheet from you upon its release. I had two kits long ago and sold them both. Two weekends ago, I found one at a local estate sale for the princely sum of $10. Regards, Rob
  15. IIRC, there was a producer planning to do aftermarket US Army and/or USMC decals for the 1/48 Revell H-34. Did this come to fruition? If so, where can I purchase them? Tia, Rob
  16. Yep, Terry's got it. Use medium viscosity CA dropped into a pile of talc (I do it on a vinyl lid from crisp/coffee can). Mix to the consistency of slightly runny toothpaste, & apply. It can be sanded in as little as 15 min., and it doesn't get harder if you wait 15 days. It also doesn't shrink, so don't overapply it. It works on resin as well as plastic, and you don't have to back it with anything for large gaps. Auto modelers have been using it for years to do major recontouring on "custom" cars.
  17. James, If you send me your e-mail address (to: robowens@austin.rr.com), I have a 4 page tutorial (w/ pics) sent to me from a member of The Aerodrome( www.theaerodrome.com ). I personally think his result is too solid, and too brown, but it's at least a point of departure. The pics do illustrate that the angle of the "streaks" differed depending on the surface to which they were applied. I've had good results using ModelMaster Olive streaked over well cured Sand/Radome Tan for clear doped linen, brushed out/feathered with Testor's Brush Cleaner (yes, Brush Cleaner; for some reason, it's not as
  18. Sasa, Bolshaya Spasiba, Tovaritch!! Just what I was looking for! Regards, Rob
  19. Looking for drawings/plans/photos of the R-7 (Sputnik/Vostok/Soyuz) Transporter Erector. I finally managed to score the 1/100 MPC "RD-107" kit, and I'd like to display the model in something other than the vertical. TIA, Rob
  20. Let us not forget the 1/72 Sharkit R-7/Sputnik. At least, I think it's still in production. Regards, Rob
