  3. Nope I was on the trolley bus in at 11am, whilst you were outside... I wish I hopped off the bus now, infact I may have an image of you in / around by that cat (the Grimreaper outside)

I have made a walk around section for Tomcats on my site http://widowmaker.is-a-geek.com/index.php?cat=11 So far I have: 157984 - Pensacola - NF-14 (Painted as an F-14a Black Aces) 161159 - Pensacola - F-14D Last Flight 161134 - Titusville - F-14A Black Aces David - If you want a copy of the images, let me know... Also you werent in Pensacola in June by any chance were you, they had a F-14 open in the "Boneyard" area and there was a guy shooting cockpit shots for a book.

  8. I didnt manage to... but my dad was with me... he recorded some in glorious 1080p.... I will see if i can get it up on youtube once we have processed the videos ;)

  13. Thanks just saw footage of the incident, I doubt the SPAD had a chance of seeing BBD before the incident happened

Reminds me of a conversation I had whilst watching the Blue Angels last month with a retired USN officer he said *During the smoke test prior to take off by the solos* "Last year the Plane number 6 was a Marine.... he was the best at doing the smoke test.... not that I'm trying to say that Marines are the best at blowing smoke... but you understand" I was stunned

  17. Thanks As for getting to grips with the lens, my technique hasnt changed yet on my old warhorse of a lens (Sigma 170-500) the best I could hope for was: Shocking how decent glass changes the image quality

  19. Didnt move from the flightline, apart from the 2 times to get food / drink didnt even go to the gents, so I missed the static stuff, which im not too worried about Next episode..... Duxford for Legends
