  1. Nice F-14, one small problem I think I can see is the Engines are incorrect for the timeframe (when VF-211's CO bird was retired i thought they were on B's) Aside from that... very very nice!

  6. you could try this way of doing the MDC: The Airfix 1/48 Hawk canopy. The MDC looks to be a little heavy, how can it be improved? Easy, paint it! The chord is actually engraved on the inside of the canopy, so the trick is to make a thin mix of water-soluble paint and flow it into the recesses. Don't worry if you overshoot the detail, let the paint touch dry for a few minutes and then... Taking a clean cloth, remove the excess. If there are any stubborn spots, moisten the cloth. Take care not to crack the canopy. Job done! An easy improvement over the unpainted MDC chord. Courtesy of

  9. I am shortly off to Melbourne florida, i will be visiting the VAC warbird museum in titusville... I am looking at doing some walk around / detail shots...   11. wonder how the Iranians are going to overhaul the engines on their fleet... im guessing they will call on their Russian counterparts for their Engines

However you wouldnt get a cat with the canopy open, spread winged and slats dropped they normally would be wings swept or overswept with canopy open also your rear phoenix rails are backwards still Aside from that a nice looking cat albeit in the Rogers colors (too many of those in museums and models)

  18. Looking at the intakes they are small and round meaning its a Legacy bird... however i may be wrong
