  1. Differently from the F-4 or 1/32 F-18 intake sets which require real molding works this particular SH intake set may be made using the kit parts only. All you(he) needed to do was to glue the kit parts together and putty them inside. I have never seen this set by this person but I guess it was produced just in this way. In other words, this set just copies the kit parts.
  2. Thank you for the support! The package was shipped in this evening.
  3. Yes, I just looked over this page on ebay and only article presented there now is 1/48 F-18 intake set. All the rest positions are removed. Now it is neccessary to wait only while this person will send examples of his stuff for review. I would like to compare them at first and then I will be able to pass these parts to third party, in a case if all suspicions are confirmed.
  4. Discussion here is about a line of F-4 and F-18 intakes and S-3 intake set by Sierra Hotel Models which was also stolen by this person. As for intake set for 1/32 Super Hornet, - probably this set is his own, just rebuilt from the kit parts. Someone of more competent people maybe will say more.
  5. Yes, unfortunately most of dishonest guys (to say in smooth) prefer to use ebay for their sales. They appear there but disappear at any moment if neceassary to lurk from any troubles. This is exactly that way which this Rhino-guy has opted for his 'business'. He wanted to be recognizable therefore ha has taken a proper name for him. But he wanted to be hidden at the same time. His website is dated by October 2010 but has never been completed. And about at the same time he had started sales of these F-4 and F-18 intakes. I did not draw a close attention to an activity of this guy on ebay ea
  6. And it would great if this person reports on this board that he send me examples of these products to confirm that any pretensions to him are ungrounded.
  7. I would prefer if him gives me a full profit on these items, Harold, becouse my own sales of these products dropped practicaly to zero. Of course, we completely depend from our customers and customers would always prefer to purchase the same product but with a cheaper price and with some 'bonus parts'. And I don't know so far what to do with this 'businessman' from ebay. He lurkes and while I'm completely open about me I'm not advised even about a name of this person. All I needed to get from him now was to get examples of the products he sells through ebay but he has refused to do it.
  8. Yes, guys, you bought through ebay not the 'Rhino' intake sets and all over again,- just virtually pirated copies of the original DMold stuff but under a "Rhino Modelworks" label. Some of you probably remember a similar story which happened on ebay for a couple of years ago when a person whose name was Paul Miller was selling fake copies of the DMold stuff via his account on ebay. Now it seems the same story occures again but now all the same DMold sets are being sold not under a fake 'DMold' label, as it was at the past, and under the 'original' Rhino Modelworks trademark. As any fake stuff
  9. And where did you get this information from? I do not see any sales by Rhino on ebay already for a long time.
  10. You need to wait. So far a shipment with these sets is completed for sending to the US only. Dmitri
  11. Thanks guys, but due to latest restrictions in the work of the US post on a weight limit for packages coming to the USA delivery of these and other sets is being delayed until these postal restrictions are cancelled. I don't know when it will happen but for awhile delivery of the regular shipments to the USA is impossible. Dmitri
  12. No, this set isn't OOP and is on regular production line. 'OOP' remark is related to another set, Do-17Z tailplane set which is below. I will need to fix this issue.
  13. Yes, all is correct and I was thinking on this problem before. But unfortunately, a reproduction of this cavity which is actually intended for additional airlow coming from ventral doors is nearly impossible on these pattern parts. There are some limitations in the casting process and these cavities become by heavy steps inside the molds that makes demolding the parts very difficult or even impossible. Therefore such deep detail inside these pattern parts has to be avoided. However, advanced modelers may reproduce these cavities later themself (in particular if they want to open the ventral d
  14. There is one more addition to our line of profiled intake sets. This is Rafale intakes set for Revell or HobbyBoss 1/48 kits ready to fly now. Regards, Dmitri
  15. Although this kit is basically pretty nice and accurate it has got, however, a completely wrong, rectangular fairing of the main wing. So, one of new, November's releases by DMold is on the pictures. This easy to fit part is intended to correct this wrong kit area as shown below. Regards, DMitri
  16. Thanks for your inquiry and patience! This Nimrod project is a subject of love for me as well. But this set should be completed with a bit special (and hard to produce) part, and for business reasons this project was postponed untill the same part is completed for the similar Connie project. I mean cockpit glazing parts to be casted of clear resin. Thus, both these projects will be introduced into production line at the same time now, during about two weeks. Keep your eye on updates at my website. Regards, Dmitri
  17. Hi Eric, Victory Models remains to be a major retailer of these sets and we try to restock any of products as fast as we can. But don't forget, please, that DMold is a small, cottage industry company and our abilities to produce a large number of sets are limited. You may also want to purchase some sets you need from Scott Anderson (scotthldr) if these particular sets are unavailable from Victory Models. Scott is also a legal supplier of these products and makes a good job to assist us in the sales. On this new EA-6B intake set, - there's a test shot on the pictures and this set has to be in
  18. Yes, Jennings, there is a lot of areas to be improved or corrected in the kit, indeed. As for the sets from me, - basically, I try to introduce into my assortment only those items which are really hard to make for most of modelers but which are really needed in order to vastly improve exterior of any of models. That's why I have never been a "superdetailer" and it's unlikely you will ever see cockpits or any another superdetailed sets under a label of DMold. My major specialization was always large airframe parts or full kits. This line of Connie correction sets isn't exception. Three
  19. Well, friends, to answer questions one to another. f12aaa, I can't comment compatibility this set with any of products from another aftermarket producers, but the kit cockpit tub fits without any problems along with these intakes, - the gap between the parts is pretty large. So, probably the Aires cockpit has to fit without especial problems as well. Jennings, I'm glad you are happy to hear about forthcoming Connie correction sets. It's true, and this is really my favorite project as well. The progress on this one is much greater in actuality and these parts (as well as new radome parts) ar
  20. New release from DMold laboratory: Profiled intakes for 1/48 Kinetic EA-6B kit A preliminary picture of another project coming soon, - start of the work on 1/48 HobbyBoss F-111 intake sets: Both, Triple Plow I and TP II intake sets will be realesed later in this fall. And there's one of pictures of my favorite project, - correction sets for Heller 1/72 L-1049 Constellation kits. This project is also getting good progress and more info on this one will be published soon. Regards, Dmitri
  21. These sets are also available from Victory Models at the present time Dmitri
  22. There was about the same topic on britmodeller forum There's an option for ages Dmitri
  23. Chaps, don't use this special thread just to promote your own websites here! :) I made my point and improved my product. And I do not have time to play on the web. I would rather build models and design master patterns. Thanks all for your support and comments. Cheers, Dmitri
  24. What my FAULT do you say about? And what I accepted?? Where? All the comments are published here and I can add nothing else on this question over it. Sincerely, Dmitri
  25. A new shipment of these correction sets, which I'm really proud of, is in route to Victory Models and will be available from them in about two weeks. But since this thread may give my products a bad reputation I strongly believe I need to give my thoughts here and address the pictures as above. The two photos are presented side by side to allow equal comparison to one another . The upper photo is my own and which I made under natural light and with no further corrections in Photoshop. It can be seen from this photo that the panel lines, while not completely perfect, ARE not very deep and
