  1. Hi Tim,

Your check arrived safe and sound today. I've got 5 more of the 32nd B-25 weights to cast, then I'll start putting your order together. I should have it out by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.

    Many Thanks, Terry

  6. From what I've been able to find is that most of the gun covers were of one design. I have heard of a few fixed gun installations that used the turret cover but, not many. Cheers, Terry (certifiable P-61 NUT!!)

  9. This subject crops up occasionally. I've been producing and using lead weights for 20+ years and have never had a problem securing them with CA. My only advice would be to let the CA gas out completely before closing up wherever the weight was placed and don't use a large amount of it. It may be possible for some interaction between some brands/formulas of CA and some plastics over time, however, I'm not real sure about that. Just my $.02 Worth, Terry

  12. They completely dropped off the map. If some KW T-800s were to show up, I might take up vehicle models again. Cheers, Terry (Retired KW herder.)
  13. Also, the heads should be the same color as the rest of the engine. 2nd the oil/sludge wash to dirty up the engine. From someone who put around 2 million miles on 3406s, it's looking good. Cheers, Terry Oh, those miles were all in KW T-800s.

  19. They also blew it on the "Lady In The Dark" markings. The "Lady"s dress was blue, not red, only her shoes were red. Her serial number was 239408. Just a tiny bit of research and they could have got that part of it right. Also, The "Lady" did NOT have the turret. Her upper guns were a solid, fixed installation as were a great many of the Pacific based P-61s. Cheers, Terry (Certifiable P-61 NUT!!)

  22. Haven't seen photos of the sprue but, It looks like the put the turret on it instead of the fixed upper guns it should have. The "Lady-In-The-Dark" and all other 548th NFS P-61s had fixed upper guns, not the turret. I do have the gun cover for the fixed gun installation. $3.00 + postage(based on zipcode). Cheers, Terry

  24. Happy to see the MTO P-38 Groups finally getting some recognition, especially the 82nd Group. Not the Squadron I was hoping for but, I'll take it! I'd love to see a decal sheet dedicated to all three MTO P-38 Groups and all of their repective squadrons. The MTO P-38s have been ignored for far too long. I have to admit, I am a bit biased toward the 82nd Fighter Group, the 97th Squadron in particular. That was my Dad's outfit during the war. He was with them from the time the Group was formed until March 1945. Cheers, Terry
