Hey, I've been away from the forums for a while, but I think I have the instructions. I could scan them, convert to pdf and send them along to you if you wish. I'll check it out in the morning. Cheers, Mark McClellan West Australia

I love the subtitles on one of the clips: "Weapon successfully tested by Russian Military" and under that it says: "March 2003, Florida, USA" So when did Russia start testing in Florida?

Crikey is right! But what better end to a 2CV?

I was stationed at Dobbins AFB/NAS Atlanta where the 105's were based back in '82. Loved listening to them. The sound of freedom....

How about the F4u's in Baa Baa Black Sheep? And the C-119 in Conair? I also have a video called "Starfighter" about the F-104. Crap movie, great airplane shots. Rated "M" for some reason. No one swears, the only "violence" is the minigun shooting and bombs, hardly worth an "M" rating.

God Bless Google! I figured it out myself! http://www.britishaircraft.co.uk/aircraftpage.php?ID=557 Mark

This one looks a LOT like a Sopwith Triplane: http://www.aviamonuments.ru/planes/Rossiya...ovskaya+obl./86 Anyone out there know what it is? Mark

Did Canada ever have/consider having Phantoms? Sure looks cool. On naval exercises off Vancouver Island manny many years ago, we got swooped by F-104's, maybe F-101's too. It was very neat. Our ship (U.S.) was transporting the Canadian Army (PPCLI) and we were the "enemy" attacking the U.S. Marines (the "good" guys). The Canadians kicked butt, what a great bunch of blokes! But anyway, Phantoms are cool, my brother flew in one. Me, I was just a Hospital Corpsman. Cheers, Mark

The F-4 video takes me back! I used to be stationed at Dobbins AFB (NAS Atlanta) where I worked in the Navy Medical Clinic. In good weather I would ride my bike home, around the end of the runway. One afternoon two F-4's were running up for take off, and about the time I was right behind them, they lit the afterburners. I thought I was going to be blown off my bike! All great fun. Mark

I absolutely love the F-104! Beautiful plane in either one or two seats, Pieter did a fantastic job. Maybe I can be that good when I grow up (I'm almost 50 now, so I'd better get a wiggle on...). Well done Pieter! Heavy drool factor here. Mark

Yeah, Qantas here has had 757's with winglets for a while. Do a google seearch for "Qantas 757" and you should get a couple hits. They do look cool.

Airplanes? What airplanes?

I had a look at Nissim's great A-4N photos and I noticed in tha background of pic 4 an M-48 Chaparral. Does anyone know how effective the Chaparral really was?

I remember watching the Blues at NAS Atlanta in the mid 80's when I was stationed there, and also before that at MCAS Beaufort in 76 I think when I was stationed at MCRD Parris Island. Still love the A-4! I met CDR Casey Jones (Blue Angel #1 back in '76) at Beaufort. As a relatively new sailor then, it was a great honor.
