  1. Wow, what a slacker. C'mon, Pete, put some effort in next time. (Yes, I'm joking. This is incredible work - as usual. Kudos!)
  2. Outstanding work! I especially like the LM - not usually done with the legs in stowed position, so I commend you on your choice there. Did you find it difficult to work with the foil? I'm intending to start a similar LM, and am feeling daunted by how to properly render the complicated kapton foil on the descent stage. Again, very very nice work, and thanks.
  3. Totally amazing work. I look forward to updates.
  4. ---------- Many thanks, this is quite helpful. I noticed the notch on the Corsair fit as well, but in that case the flaps behind the cowling (i.e. on the back side of the engine part, facing the fusilage) don't mate well without some sanding. (Unlike the hellcat, there's no QB firewall involved.) So what you said reinforces what I thought, which is that a bit of sanding down the back of the engine is probably all that's needed - the front fits fine and gives (as best I can tell based on the kit parts) the correct height. One last question, if you don't mind: was it just a simple drill job to
  5. From Honolulu, aloha. :) Very nice work on the Hellcat. I have a "dumb" question and hope someone might help. I'm new both to the ARC forum and somewhat new (returning actually) to the hobby. I'm about to start a 1/48 F4U Birdcage Corsair, and already got the Quickboost engine for that. Problem is, I'm at a bit of a loss how the thing is supposed to fit with the kit fusilage, and since it looks like it's a similar kinda deal for the Hellcat, I thought I'd ask. Are you supposed to sand down or cut off the whole flat back thing and drill out something to make the QB part fit to the fusilage, or
