  1. carter lights, very common on the md 500 series in the 70's. very few operators use them anymore. san diego county sheriff might have a few operational cal
  2. paul, really impressed with the detail of the stepmounts, we make the actual parts your building and your accuracy is outstanding. cal
  3. loach, that one is fairly new. but the 9HD derivative or Mx10 are both "players" without getting too large. also the DRS 410 would also have be considered
  4. that would be a ZSQ3, almost very similar to a talon
  5. mr b, i have beacoup law enforcement pics in my collection, lots of fairly detailed "walk around" types as well. we modify the police ships so have good collection of images from most every type c

  7. cobra, thats surprising, figured the -72 would be front and center. did the dillon boys have the new plank on display for the LB? Was out yesterday in the 145 doing more camera testing
  8. cobra, did they display the LH-72? Thanks sc
  9. turboshaft, thanks for the complement. i agree, we believe we will see many ships with our mount, in particular the raid ships or those ships using searchlights. my personal frustration is technical, by that i mean other than looking good, the centerline location is distinct disadvantage to stepmount location in all regards. keeping in mind that All ec-145 with any camera or searchlight are successfully using a stepmount/bolster mount config. our stepmount took the concept one big step further with the ability to carry 4 payloads simultanously (up to 125lbs), with 4 distinct payload arms fo
  10. sir, the RFP for the LH-72 upgrades just came out mid month, dec. we mfg the stepmount that you inquired about. the stepmount is required for 98 ships, but for the searchlight. the rfp objective is to mount centerline. whether or not that becomes reality is another subject. obviously we would like to see the flirs on the stepmount. somewhat frustrating as the stepmount is STC'd, proven, made in the US, very cost effective and will handle all the most common cameras, up to 125lbs not sure why the army is hell bent on centerline as its not proven, heavy, costly, puts the CG even farther fwd et
  11. trevor, outstanding! going to look great in the new office. this one will go on my desk for all too see. the fit and finish are very accurate as well. scratch built payloads are never easy. thanks again cal
  12. sirs, have lots of jpegs of the -72, upclose, detail stuff if you need them cal
  13. erick: is there any details of the sponson area? if so then i would like to get a copy as well thanks cal
