Today the southern NSW and northern Victoria fires joined up creating about a 600,000 hectare fire. As an Aussie, I cannot express a bigger enough thanks to the Canadian, US and Kiwi firefighter teams coming over helping us out. I work at one of the Avalon where both Coulson C-130's and Conair RJ85 tankers are based, this photo was taken on early Monday morning, the smoke haze was a combination of the fires in both states.

Good evening All. Most Probably a long shot here, I received a Hasegawa Neppy for Christmas, and have intention to build it with Bombay open. I know that Eduard prduced a PE set for it has been discontinued for quite a while ( at least 17 yrs) I was wondering if anyone had purchased this set? If so would anyone be able to scan a copy of the PE set as I would like to create the bombay in plastic card. Cheers & TIA. Brendon

Australian Hornets already have NVIS external lighting, So why does it need replacing? What is the difference in the landing gear? I am to assume that it be heavier brakes due to the fact that they will be operating in a subzero temp environment rather than an Aussie winter.

Yep the F-22 refueling trials were conducted in August & Sept 2018 successfully.

You're definitely right there,, And the US would have a new tanker in service now, If Airbus had gotten the contract for it

Hi Guy's. Tomorrow is the last day for final submissons into the GB. Sorry I haven't been an active member of the group. I have had some personal issues to deal with the last 5 months which has severely hampered my love for building, but I am on the mend. I would like to take a moment to thank all of you that have participated and have completed builds, it has been a pleasure to be able to host this GB. Hey Tony. Thanks mate, I apologize for not replying sooner. All the decals are finished, slowly working on the bng seats and all the additional stuff, Im going to hang 6 MK 82 snakes off it with gas bags on the wings.

Hi Spectre, Not much as I have hoped for unfortunately. This stupid thing called work gets in the way..... How inconsiderate of Pilots to break the aircraft that they Fly. So I have got the it on its gear and have managed to get the white down to start the painstaking task of making the squares for the chequered markings. There won't be any modeling sone this weekend as I am about to attend a conference over the weekend.

Moving along nicely.. Just quick observation, did you apply clear where the decals go? just noticed a little silvering on the edges, clear underneath would stop that from happening.

Lovely start to this build considering the start that you had with it. As it has been stated, I think Eduard go with the scale effect with the colour PE items., but it still has a stunning effect to the build, and the intakes do look great. For a Russian fighter, the 27 has a sexy look to it.
