  1. Hello, I've been lurking for a while, and I feel it's time to brag about my skills give my contribution. I apologise in advance for my English, which isn't always flawless, and for my photo editing skills. I'll try and improve... Premise: Since I fell in love with the Flanker, I've been building anything that flew with red stars - and that includes foreign, Lend-Lease'd, captured and test-flown planes. I'm a regular at my local hobby exposition, and we're given a square meter per person, which I've always had trouble filling, so I've decided to switch to large models for a while. The probl
  2. An update: I checked with the Hong Kong Mail using the tracking number he had finally provided, and it appears that my kit, bought and paid for on Christmas day, had its first glance of a post office... on January, 11th. Then it was left seen on a sailing junk leaving Hong Kong Harbour on the 25th. Communication went around in circles and I had the impression he was stalling, waiting for the feedback deadline to expire. I finally got tired and left him a neg - had to use the 'backdoor' since the 90 days had expired, so don't call me impatient! Today, he wrote the most artic
  4. Pegasus Hobbies has farm animals in 1/48, they've been available from Hannants for a while. For 1/32, have you considered Britains? The plastic is not very workable but you could cast resin copies. What about sculpting? Small animals are fun to do and the paint will hide many errors. I've made cats, pigeons, a dog for my 1/32 crib and a horse in 1/48.
  5. Cool dio... Bear in mind that the downwash from the rotor blade will send the small stuff flying. You could have a line of laundry flappin' like mad... For the screen: have you considered lace? The mass-produced kind is also sold by length. You can cut it to your needs, soak with superglue, paint it black and obtain a wrought-iron artistic fence.
