Let us talk OLD SCHOOL, go out and buy a small can of oil base silver paint at a hardwear store, it takes a day to dry and sometimes up to three days. it works just fine for buffing, been using the stuff for over 30 years. "Boats"..

Wow, bet the air is clearner still, I do the same thing and have been for many years, however it don't work on all paints. The old oil base paints that I still have from the 60s &70s I use a thinner. But this new stuff with out the old mix, YEP. Still like the old stuff. "Boats"..
