  1. If we need more motivation for an F-111F sheet, this book is due out later this year and should be the definitive story, of which the Aardvark F model will be the centerpiece. And I think we all know the Afterburner sheet is another unicorn that goes for ridiculous prices when one does pop up.
  2. "I respectfully ask for windows, passenger doors and MATS/MAC markings for the 1/144 kit so I can make a C-70. Please." Excellent idea. That goes along with my suggestion: Caracal Models Basics USAF MATS/MAC/AMC Command Badges.
  3. Just in case you need more motivation for the F-111 sheet.
  4. A USCG sheet could include HC-27Js as well.
  5. Wha... ? Like maybe an Arizona ANG bird?
  6. I am committed to an F-111F so a full sheet of Fs is even better. One more reason to NOT try and track down the old Afterburner sheet.
  7. I'd just like to throw these suggestions out here again. Caracal Models Basics Military Air Transport Service (and maybe Naval Air Transport Service) Badges Caracal Models Basics Military Airlift Command and Air Mobility Command Badges Caracal Models Basics USAF AF and Numbers in FS.595 30219 Tan Next we can discuss "Three-Holer Tankers" - RAF Tristars, Dutch KDC-10s, various civilian DC-10s.
  8. Preorder... Preorder... Preorder... Preorder... Preorder... Preorder... Preorder... Preorder...
  9. Dutch, that's what the Air Combat article states. Probably because Bell is the author of both😉
  10. Maybe this will help, cut from an old Koku-Fan. Air Combat magazine did a couple articles on early A-10 camo by none other than Dana Bell, in 1972. I can send some scans. Been looking forward to something like this for years so I can put the Micro Scale sheet to pasture.
  11. I ordered those Russian aftermarket decals thru eBay but they are expensive and apparently lost somewhere between there and here. So please keep going!
  12. Looks like I'll need another Valom C-46.
  13. In your basic series, please consider doing one or more sheets for us transport folks. I'm seeing Air Transport Command (ATC), Military Air Transport Service (MATS), Military Airlift Command (MAC), Air Mobility Command (AMC), and Naval Air Transport Service (NATS). If this is too much for one sheet I'd suggest doing one for WW II (ATC, NATS) and another for post-war (MATS, MAC, AMC). If you include the various tail banners it could be a full-size sheet. Thanks! Curt
  14. Hi, I am eagerly awaiting the 1/72 CD 72049: C-119 Flying Boxcar decal. Have you considered including decals for the 4-blade propeller deicer boots? These would be a bear to paint. Another AM manufacturer has a set but they are pricey, look difficult to apply, and seem to be available only on eBay. Thanks! Curt
  15. Here's a photo of KC-10A 83-0077 "Great White" with a shark mouth in place of the nose art. From the book Giant Cargo Planes. Wish I could find more but I gather this did not last long. Dragon does make this as a 1/400 die cast.
