  1. You're right Phantom. Eduard can help mundane kits allot. And this kit needs help.
  2. I managed to squeeze the fuselage together. Believe it or not there are no gaps on the top but a few on the bottom. It took the better part of an hour with Pro Weld and much complaining. free photo hosting
  3. They make a good amount of $$$$ off us modellers.

  5. Now this is a pretty lackluster exhaust can........... free uploader Now there is a little more to look at. imagehost I'm ready to close this thing up. From test fitting, I can see it will be a bear! adult picture hosting
  6. This is a pretty spartan cockpit. Note molded in seat. The IP decal is not too bad. adult picture hosting I added some extra Eduard pieces from my spares and it's now pretty acceptable. Pilot will be added later. adult image
  7. Beautiful job..........it's really piqued my interest !
  8. Kurt, I hope I don't get stalled out also. Older kits can be problematical. I guess that's what this group build is all about. Dean
  9. I'm freed up and coming in with this A-7A. picture hosting screenshot on pc I believe this mold was originally from Aurora. Monogram bought Aurora and released it with the Monogram name in 1979. The accuracy of this is questionable and many items are stark at best. I will be building this as a "Plane on a Stick". I think it will look best that way. She will be in the Golden Hawks, VA 303 Attack Squadron markings.
  10. Phantom, You are indeed faster than greased lightning! I can't read as fast as this is going together.............
  11. I remember building this kit years back and the putty and sanding got very old! Seems like it was never ending. But yours is looking good.

  13. This kit looks as good as any Hasegawa A-4. Not to mention you did a great job so far. Dean
  14. Phantom, Kudos to you for being a pseudo moderator. I thought we were being left & forgotten. Dean
  15. Oh yeah, the silver styrene. Reminds me of the Revelogram F-100's. Dean
  16. I see they are releasing a 1/32, new tool F/A-18E sometime in July 2017.
  17. I will be watching this with allot of interest. I built that kit as a teenager. Dean

  19. They have good prices and good stock. Just remember they have a lag period for shipping. It was explained to me that they do this to keep prices low. The logic I don't know. I was also told that if you want it faster, go else where! So I usually do.
  20. Pete has it right on the money, It's a crapshoot!
  21. I can barely respond to this topic and keep it a G rating. IMHO we're all slaves to them. They all suck!
  22. The M has improved electronic-countermeasures and a low smoke motor but little external differences other than fuse windows as stated.
  23. The key words here are "tempered glass". You don't have to use tempered glass. It is stronger but you just have to use some caution with other glass.
  24. As all maintainers know or find out, these military planes, especially fighters, can kill & maim without being in the air.
