ok hear is my qustion i have about the SRB's what dose the engine bell area look like. where the flame comes out. is there any foam in that areay and what color is that area down there because im doing my shuttle to look like its about to launch so any pictures would be awsome

in 1/144 scale ill be building Columbia and the challenger so if any body has these names in 1/144 scale and doesn't want them let me know because i need them

cool because i work in 1/144 scale and 1/72 shuttles. and i whant new ones because the kit decals in my shuttle stack suck

OK so for my birthday my Friend surprised me with the monogram 1/72 space shuttle stack. so what I'm wondering is what problems do i need to look out for with this kit. and any ideas for a better display stand than what came in the kit?

OK so for my birthday yesterday i got as a present the space shuttle stack in 1/72 scale. and the kit decals are crap. now who makes the best decals i can use to make this model look real. or if i wanted to make my own where could i look for a NASA digram that shows the markings that are used on the real thing??

for the blue plastic use a really good primer so you dont get bleed through on the plastic

OK since we seem to be talking about navy jets. i have built a few of the airplanes mentioned in 1/72 when i was a kid because thats all i could afford but i have since moved on to 1/48.
and i built the fujimi A-6a for some one and it look OK on the out side but the cockpit sicks so if i was to do it again i wouldefinitelyly start with a monogram and bacdateae that.
the other airplanes like cursederader i like the monogram revell kit very easy to build for not that much.
but when you get in to a jet i really care about thsky hawkkyhawk family in 1/48 scale the 3 best kits i have that rrepresentpresnt the jet well i think are hahobby craftycraft, and monogram. because i can use parts from these kits to make any tysky hawkkyhwant whant. but stay away from the italeri kit its junk

i found the intakes i need from cutting edge. but topgun if the antenna is the same kind used on the A-4m than i have a hobbycraft A-4 kit part that i can send you

ok topgun it think i solved your problem hasegawa makes a skyhawk kit that gives you all of the parts you need in one box. it is listed as 09951 1/48 a-4m skyhawk low visibilty. now it might say A-4m on the box but it gives you somany parts you can built your super fox. im going to get one to do my blue angels jet

topgun i am also in need of the intakes as well so what im going to tryi is i have a blue angels A-4 i whant to do so my idea is get a hasagwa kit that has the intakes then make my own casting if i can. what sky hawk kit are you useing for your build?

if i add some thick putty to the out side of the kit parts could i bulge the intakes that way if i cant get the kit parts?

ok so i love the A-4 skyhawk and i have a few in 1/48 and one i really whant to do is a blue angels one but i really need help with it so the qustion is did there a-4's were they part of the SUPER fox conversion? and if so where the intakes bulged and where can i get a pair in 1/48 scale?

ok well i just talked with revell and they wont be relssed next year but in 2013 the f-14a and there d kit will be re relessed hopfull they will fix some stuff with the kit and they have have a navy guy working for them now so hope fully they will make the kit better

i wish both kits would comeback i liked them. they gave me parts i needed to build a bo or a d and i loved the weapons in it but the fule tanks arnt shaped right and the pilot figures looked stupid

crowe-t thank you so much for the help this is a area you almost never see did you get to see the shuttle up close like you see in the pictures you posted?
