i need help i have the monogram battelstar glactica and part number 8 that gose on the nose side is missing so if any body has the part or has on that they can resin cast off of i really apreaceatit

my guess about the color of the plane is testors metalizer gunmetal i know this is a match because i got to hold a peice of the wreckage of the 3rd aicraft once and the guy let me look at it out side and it is the gunmetal color but if u still whant that blue tint use the modelmaster gunmetal is sort of gives of a blue tint in some light

my rule is i will always try and hunt down a pic of the aircraft im bulding i only use the dirctions to know how it gose to geather but with pain i will try and match off the picture a good example of this ar the aircraft used by the blue angels i don't use blue angel blue i find a blue that matches the picture becaus there aircraft always from the beartcat onward used a share of royal blue every 2 years the blue is eather lighter or darker than the year before so look at pics if you can

this sounds cool did you fix the nose on the bombcat??? my tomcat will be the revell because i can get them for a good price i cant wait to see it finshed

just to let every body know i am doing blue angel aircraft but this is helping very much plues i also talked to the guy who ownes fisher models he helped a lot

ok i think i know the colors for the planes the wheel bay and struts would be dark sea blue antd the intieor would be green but i am still puzzeld about the intieor of the intakes if any body knows this help

i am build ing a grumann panther and cougar so what color would the weel bay and struts be and the inside of the intakes and the intor of each jet?? any help would be aprcheated

i picked up a s-3a amt viking but i whant to make it in to a b so is there a nuf aftermarkit stuff for the b that i can use it in the kit to make it a b??

at what time bol rail were added and lantern pod and suff like that that is what i would like to see

i like all of them but i think the monogram and the revell s are nice and can be made nice as you just proved with your builds thats why all of the f-14s i will do will be revells because there chep and afordable

the cougar i have is a old revell but has the parts to make any kind the bluse used except for the 2 seat version if u whant one i guess get the fm models plane it has the blue angels decals with it

i will be building all of the blue angels aircraft in 1/48 scale and fat albert in 1/72 using the testors kit i will try and post pics if i can figure it out but i have in 1/48 sacle so far the f6f-5 hellcat f8f bearcat and both the f9f-2 and -5 panther and a f8f-8 cougar and i will get the tiger soon but all ready have a f-4j to work on and have a a-4e skyhawk to buld and will have a f/a-18 hornet and also the 2 seater :lol: so what do u think

your jet looks great i was wondering what did u do to the orgnial revell to make it look that grate???

my first tomcat i have bult is on the front of the page today i fell so proud it is the revell from 1978 but on the box the used a fujmia f-14? so i built it to look like one of the f-14s used in the final count down but i picked a darker gray insted of the typical gull gray because i think if they filmed a movie a darker gray would show up lighter on screen so i was fun but i whant to see what ever bodys opion is

ok i have the kit and what i plan to do is im going to get a lot to buld my f-14b's in 1/48 scale i mean come on i bult the orginal revell f-14a from 1978 and made that look good it took 6 months on and off but i did it and made it look good so with the new b thats out im going to build it but i will replace what i see fit to with steal beach and aires but i think it will awsome but by geting these kits i hope to help the econmy and darren pay bills :)
