  1. Great build, especially the paint and weathering!
  2. Great build - and photography! The Reskit products are really nice.
  3. Thanks for the comments, guys - I appreciate it 😎 Frank
  4. Hell yea, nice build, I like the weathering! Frank
  5. Just finished this Mig-21, decorated in Finland's as-delivered paint scheme. Overall fit of the Zvezda kit is good, but I needed to treat the speed brakes with some 240 grit to blend them into the fuselage. I sprayed the camo freehand (with several touch-up passes), and used the kit decals along with stencils from Begemot. The large pitot is from Master - the vanes are the smallest parts I have ever worked with! Frank
  6. +1 on the Eduard recommendation... I am using their CBU-87 set on my 1/72 Beagle.
  7. I appreciate the comments, fellas! I could use a darker background for photos next time 🤔 Frank
  8. So many Hornets, so little time. They look great @Thadeus! Frank
  9. Thanks for your comments @kurnass77 and @Thadeus!
  10. Thanks @GreyGhost Gregg, I appreciate it. I did leave off the kit pitot tubes, as they are way chunky! Frank
  11. Here's the old Fujimi F-14A that I spruced up with Quickboost seats and decals from Furball Aero. Not a bad kit, but there were some sketchy areas like the fit of the landing gear doors. I am looking forward to building the new Academy Tomcat soon! Frank
  12. Just finished up this Viper, decorated for the 1991 era. I used the kit jamming pod, fuel tanks, and AIM-9s, but substituted a pair of Hasegawa Mk-84s for the kit's laser-guided bombs. I also cut and dropped the flaps. The "RESCUE" arrows on the old Superscale decals are a little out of register, but went on with no problems. Attaching the landing gear parts was the most challenging part of the build! Frank
  13. Thanks @Dutch! It sure is a beast next to the little baby L-29 on my shelf LOL! Frank
  14. Appreciate the comments @habu2 and @Whiskey.
  15. Stupid Google Photos, hold please...
  16. Finally finished this Thud! This was part of a multi-kit eBay purchase that came without decals (I used the TwoBobs SEA Heroes sheet). I had to work hard on the seams, but otherwise this was a straightforward build. I used some Eduard etch in the cockpit (seat details and mirrors) and Eduard's AGM-45s.
  17. Awesome sheets! Time to crank up an order! Frank
  18. Awesome, Mark! I will be stocking up. If you're looking for product ideas, how about the M118 3000 lb bomb? I can use a bunch to outfit several F-105 models... Frank
  19. Fellas, the title says it all. I submitted my request to Revell, but spare parts are no longer available. The kit number is 5431, and I believe that kit 5450 has the same clear parts. Long shot I know, but if any of you have parted out a 1/72 F or G Thud, let me know. Thanks in advance! Frank
