  1. I recently built the Hasegawa E39 kit as a 1991-era Desert Storm jet. Great kit without the "modern" GPS antennas, etc. I loaded it up with Eduard CBU-87s and finished it with Two Bobs decals.
  2. Cool camo on a unique subject - thanks for sharing your work!
  3. Nice but pricey 😮. Hoping that Mini Craft Collection is working on the early seats; their Mk.H7 seats are really nice.
  4. Ooh I will look more closely to see if this may work on an F-4C Wild Weasel build!
  5. Really nice Tomcat - particularly good weathering effects!
  6. Whoa, nice build and awesome weathering !
  7. Appreciate your comments @Ryan Hothersall @flagon21 ! Frank
  8. Just finished this old Heller kit, my advice is don't try this at home - it was a ton of work to make it presentable. In addition to mucho filler and sanding, I used Eduard etch in the cockpit, ResKit missile pylons (these are amazing) and Linden Hill decals with Begemot stencils. I cut and dropped the flaps and also repositioned the horizontal stabs to an at-rest position. I stole the four missiles from my Zvezda SU-27SM kit (which looks to be a much easier build).
  9. Whoa, nice for the 48ers, but our 72nd F-4B has to be close behind !!!
  10. Nice build, with a great looking pod and back-story! Frank
  11. Great work and choice of paint scheme, really well done!
  12. Wow that is one ugly prototype, but your build, paint, and weathering are very well-done!
  13. Whoa, really nice work! Were are you going to put that beast?
  14. Heck yea! These will look so good on the new Trumpeter kits.
  15. Great build, especially the paint and weathering!
  16. Great build - and photography! The Reskit products are really nice.
  17. Thanks for the comments, guys - I appreciate it 😎 Frank
  18. Hell yea, nice build, I like the weathering! Frank
  19. Just finished this Mig-21, decorated in Finland's as-delivered paint scheme. Overall fit of the Zvezda kit is good, but I needed to treat the speed brakes with some 240 grit to blend them into the fuselage. I sprayed the camo freehand (with several touch-up passes), and used the kit decals along with stencils from Begemot. The large pitot is from Master - the vanes are the smallest parts I have ever worked with! Frank
  20. +1 on the Eduard recommendation... I am using their CBU-87 set on my 1/72 Beagle.
