So, riddle with Azerbaijani Be-12 is resolved. Regarding Azerbaijani Beriev story goes like this: - Upon breaking of USSR in 1992, Soviet Navy had 4 x Be-12 stationed at Kala AFB. - 4 of them were inherited Azerbaijan, Numbers red №30,№31,№32 и №33, of which red 32 was taken by Ukraine because at the moment of brake up of USSR was at overhaul at Crimea
-
Actually the star IS in three colors, but is barely visible.

Be-12 in Ukraine ... and Ukrainian AF example left over in Crimea
-
I cant figure it out if those Azerbaijani examples were left overs, non flayble examples from Soviet times, left to rotten at Baku, at least according to excessive damage to the hull and wings on the aircraft or regular Azerbaijani AF examples.

Here we have list of all Beriev Be-12 aircraft; http://russianplanes.net/planelist/Beriev/Be-12 Azerbaijani are missing

Kotey, when do you expect decals to be finished? Also when we can expect your new Ka-27/28 decals in 1/48 scale?

Yes, You are right. I wanted to post VPAF Beriev photos I have. I don't know if you have seen second photo before, oldugh it can be any other user than Vietnam on that blurry photo. And you are right again, it's not Kirgistan, it's Azerbejani Be-12. I have found only 3 pictures from 1999 or 2000. Derelict examples. http://flickrhivemind.net/Tags/azerbaijan,beriev/Interesting Do you have some more pictures of Azerbejani examples? I have seen that Azerbaijan has purchased Be200 aircraft, but what happened with Be12?

The kit according to manufacturer contains: - Precut polystyrene vacform fuselage, keel, wings and stabilizer - Resin engine intakes and jet pipes - Cast metal landing gear and flap hinges - Photo-etched parts are a fret of detail parts and a separate scribing template - Laser printed window, windscreen and door outline decals and cost amazing £112.50 ( $ 188.70 USD ) for Base Kit with no decals and for decals set you have to add another £14.40 ( $ 24.15 USD ) Fortunately I bought mine from eBay for 95 $ including p&p and sales tax what was 34 $ more than the seller has paid -

Unfortunately, this set was sold out long time ago. I think that Rising decals company no longer exists. Here is the to picture of what is required if may help ... -
Ok, you were right. .-)

Single seater? Why? There is excellent Zvezda kit!
-
Actually you could. That was what A-Model did. They took ESCI C-47 and then rearanged the common parts on the sprue due the copyright policy, and than changed new engine cowlings, engine and propellers and the cockpit area, doors and similar details.
