  1. This is Tamiya's 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M3/3a Zero Fighter. The model's decals are a mix from Aeromaster and the kit. The model is painted with a mix of Tamiya paints for the exterior and MM Acryl RAF Interior Green straight up for the interior. I like to use Acryl when I think some hand painting will be necessary. The blue green primer is from Gunze. Prior to painting, I primed the kit with Alcad gray primer--great stuff. I pre-shaded with black and white prior to painting. The seat belts are from Eduard. Rich
  2. Great Job! Please tell us the paint used for the upper wing yellow. Rich
  3. First aircraft model in awhile. Picked something simple out of the garage to try. This is Tamiya's 1/48 Desert Spitfire painted with Tamiya paint mixes and using a variety of decals, not trying to show any particular plane. I used the Eduard interior. Rich
  4. French Dewoitine D.520 Fighter or Corsair F4U-1D most likely
  5. Rian, Please send me (rwdurham@aol.com) your new email address. Thanks, Rich
  6. Hi all, I do not build many jets so I am looking for Tamiya Acrylic paint mixes for 36118 and 36270. I understand XF 24 is close to 36118 and XF 20 is close to 36270. Are there any Tamiya paint mix suggestions for these two colors? Thanks, Rich
