  1. Wow! Many thanks for sharing it! It's really a great work you have done on the Sea Fury. Unfortunately, the full order of battle of the UBAF during the 1960-70 is not well known, but the T-33s indeed replaced the Sea Furies from the 1 Sqn, 501 Wing, based at Yangon AB. The Sea Fury and the T-bird will surely make a nice couple  A small footnote concerning Burmese Sea Furies: On February 14, 1961, the UBAF 1 Sqn Sea Furies intercepted an intruding Kuomintang Privateer and Lt. Noel Peters, a British pilot flying for the UBAF shot it down. During this confrontation his Sea Fur
  2. Hi Chris, The Burmese T-bird has the nose as well as the entire tail section painted in day-glo orange. A red & white rudder checkerboard, red tip tanks, a big unit crest and the blue-white-yellow national markings complete the colorful look. It took some years to complete the data but now it's ready B) Greetings Diego
  3. It's a pleasure to announce our upcoming sheets HD 48035 & HD 72065 intended for the soon to be released GWH kit in 1/48th scale, as well as for the Platz, Sword and Hasegawa offerings in 1/72nd scale. The sheets include markings for 6 colorful, never before covered T-33As, serving with the air forces of: Iran (IIAF) - NMF (1960) and target tug Orange/Grey (1964) schemes Iran (IRIAF) - Pale Grey (1988) and Light Blue/Dark Blue (1997) schemes Burma (UBAF) - NMF/Day-Glo Orange (1971) Philippines (PhAF) - Aircraft Grey with sharkmouth (1972) These decals are scheduled for release end o
  4. We have just sent a restock delivery to Hannants - The decals should be "back in stock" next week. Some "sold out" items are scheduled for reprint - Our RF-4C/E sheet, for example, should be available in April together with the upcoming Italeri 1/48 RF-4E kit. We are also just finishing a new project, prepared having in mind the upcoming 1/48 kit of a legendary jet trainer. More about this very soon. Greetings Diego Hi-Decal
  5. They would have been delivered in Asia Minor camo, like all IIAF combat planes (F-4,F-5, F-14 etc.)
  6. As F-16 A/B have been ordered, but never delivered, you can indeed use markings and codes from IIAF/IRIAF F-4E or F-5E ( here even with "tail art") - as F-14 have different serial/code numbers using Grumman rounded fonts. BTW,the IIAF ordered for delivery during the 1980s a.o. not only F-16A/Bs, but also F-18A/B, F-4G Wild Weasels, E-3 Sentry AWACS etc. After the revolution, the IIAF F-16A already in production found a new home in Israel.
  7. Aaron, HI-DECAL has also these decals available for late era Intruders : Desert Storm, Yugoslavia, Last USMC Greetings Diego
  8. Hello Steve,

There seems to be a problem with PMs. I have sent you PMs and emails. Hope you got these...

  9. It indeed took a long time, but the data are now complete. Interestingly, the Egyptian Phantoms seem to be the most difficult to catch, when comparing to other EAF aircraft... Anyway, for the time being just as teaser: The sheets HD 48033 in 1/48 scale and HD 72063 in 1/72 scale include markings for three EAF Phantoms: 7813 - with early disruptive "Ghost" camouflage 7806 - with "Hill One" 3 tone scheme and orange quick ID panels 7827 - with "Modified South East Asia" camouflage and orange quick ID panels Greetings Diego
  10. There are indeed two operational squadrons but there will be tree jets on the sheet. B)/> More on this soon!
  11. Dear ARCers, It is a pleasure to announce two upcoming Phantom II sheets: Available in 1/72 and 1/48 scales, these decals will cover 3 Egyptian Air Force F-4E Phantom IIs in early Ghost Grey, S.E.A and Hill One camouflages. Scanns of the artwork will be posted soon. Greetings Diego
  12. Great to hear this! There are indeed many colorful and exotic options that could be done. If there is interest, of course, I would be glad to sponsor some Hi-Decal sheets for the GB. Greetings Diego Hi-Decal Here something to sharpen your modelling appetite: This colorful PhAF Sabre has been used in combat on Mindanao and was shot down in 1974 (not my photo):
  13. A 1/32 version of the HI-DECAL sheet HD 48-016 for IRIAF F-5Es in "on the works" at TECHMOD, but it will take some time more to have it released. If you plan to build the IIAF F-5E now, the best solution would be to use the TECHMOD F-4D sheet 32033 in 1/32 scale https://www.scalemates.com/kits/210524-techmod-32033-f-4d-phantom-ii ( again a licensed version of the HI-DECAL sheets in 1/72 and 1/48). The IAF title, roundels and flags will be right for the F-5E. You will need to adapt the codes and the serial number. The serial uses standard USAF digits, and it will be relatively simple to find a
  14. The new F-86F Sabre decals have been officially released and the preorders are now being dispatched. The first will hit the shops during the next week. Greetings Diego
  15. Of course - simply send me a PM, please. We are dispatching the decals worldwide, so no problem at all :D/> Greetings Diego
  16. Squadron.com - unfortunately they haven't ordered the new decals yet, and most of our other sheets are listed as sold out on their site :(/> Hopefully this will change soon...
  17. Finally, the new F-86F decals are ready - we will start shipping in few days, as soon as we get the instruction sheets. Here the scan of the decal sheet: The sheet allows to make four F-86F Sabres with F-40 wing: 3-133 - Iran/IIAF - Aluminium finish with UN markings applied during the operations in Congo in 1963 3-140 - Iran/IIAF - in Asia Minor camo ( sand/brown/dark green) in 1969 275 - Ethiopia/IEAF - with Asia Minor camo (ex IIAF) in 1972, used in the COIN role in Eritrea during the 1970s DRAGON - Philippines/PhAF - with sand/grass green/dark green camo applied during the COIN
  18. Well I don't know if there is a Terminator resin conversion in 1/32nd scale - I hope very much that Caracal will make a set :rolleyes:/> Re. new TUAF Phantom II decals please note that these are not Terminators. Two of them are standard Es, as delivered from the US, the third one being a ETM, i.e. a simpler, Turkish conversion destined for air defence duty. The most interesting one is the RF-4ETM, this being one of the last RF-4Es build at St Louis. It was one of the RF-4Es wired for AIM-9 Sidewinders and had LES equipped wings, like F-4Es. It was also one of few TuAF RF-4Es wired to ca
  19. Dear ARC'ers TECHMOD just released a 1/32nd scale decal set covering 3 Turkish AF F-4E/ETM with colorful tail and nose art, as well as a RF-4ETM with the attractive current, disruptive grey scheme and tail art. This decal set, released under licence from HI-DECAL, also include full turkish stencilling for 2 jets, including the respective variations used on the RF-4ETM. These new decals just arrived today to Hannants and are already on stock: http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/TM32050 These decals are also already available in 1/48th and 1/72nd scales from HI-DECAL: http://www.hannants
  20. Hi Steven, As our Iranian F-86F sheet is currently being printed, we are now finishing the artwork of the "Pharaoh's Ghosts" decal. There were some "last minute" corrections, as, for example, EAF F-4Es wearing the Hill One scheme had sevelar stencils, like ejection seat warnings, painted in different colors than the standard ones. It was long time tought that these were "faded" standard colors, what is not correct, as these were applied already at the factory using these special, "low-viz" colors. As the EAF Phantoms were repainted in the Hill Two camo during overhauls in the US, these marki
