  1. The Hasegawa MiG-29s also tend to be dirt cheap on eBay.

  4. There already is a MiG-23BN conversion kit: 1) Find an old Hasegawa MiG-23 and MiG-27 cheap at a swap meet. 2) Glue the MiG-27 nose onto the MiG-23 body. 3) PROFIT

  12. Whoah! A North Vietnamese MiG-21 that's not bare metal? I want!! I offered this before and it worked out well - if anyone plans to buy 72-019 and isn't going to use those MiG markings, I'll send you a few bucks to defray your costs in buying that sheet in exchange for them. PM me if interested.
  13. F-Toys made a very nice 1/144 F-5A a couple years ago. A lot could be done with it.
  14. Don't forget the Airfix Concorde or the Heller DC-6 and Constellation.
  15. I'd have gone, but I heard that airport SUX
  16. I have a Pavla R-22 I'd be willing to sell, but you'll have to wait until I get back home in September...

  18. BTW, may I highly recommend Linden Hill's "L-39s Of The New Great Game" decal sheet?
  19. Can I order a Royale Resin with cheese?
  20. I had this related to me by someone who worked on Wrath of Khan: Apparently some of the ILM engineers built a four-foot-high remote control robot which was basically a barstool on wheels, with a cardboard cutout of Herve Villechaise's face glued to it. From some hidden perch, they would have the thing follow Ricardo Montalban around the set all day, every day. Occasionally he would lunge at it, it'd scamper away, and come back... this lasted the entire length of his shoot.
  21. Be careful - In ze Soviet Russia, model scribes YOU!
