Friday? Again? Heavy metal! Alright, finally done with the cammo! While masking for the dielectric panels I noticed I had made a great dodo! I had switched the tailfins! I painted the right one as the left one and vice verse! I'm just going to live with it....no way I'll redo the fins!!! It looks good enough! Who'll notice? Th

Then there is the Master way and buy their turned brass dischargers! I love them.....and I lose them all over the place!

I used bristles from an old tooth brusch to make the static discharges. They are easy to get to the same length and they are the same the same thickness and you can make so many that even the carpet monster is happy and full π

The Sunday Update. Yup, still at it.... Now it's time for the gray... So I started with those despicable vinyl masks and masked for the gray. After an hour of masking 2 minutes of painting... Et Voilat... well that works....some overspray but I can polish that off. Then I did the horizontal stabs too... Now for a breather...I'll do the vertical stabs the n

The Sunday update is here. Bluer... Time to start on the cammo.... I had the blue down... Now itΒ΄s time to mask for the dark blue. Oh boy...that wasn't fun...I must say that I prefer kabuki masks...vnyl masks don't really want to lie down or conform so we shall see how this turns out. Paint! And unmasking.... I have some overspray but that's no worries and there are spots wh

Hi, a latecomer to this thread... AJS could actually carry 6 sidewinders if need be while the AJ only could carry 2 on the fuselage pylons and 2 Super Falcons on the outboard wing pylons. The JA gunpack looks bolted on but it is in fact part of the fuselage. Live Mavericks were white, AJ could only carry 2 on the fuselage pylons while the AJS could carry 4 on the fuselage pylons and inner wing pylons (looks rather wicked, I did that on a build) Here is a link to my build π

Outstanding. Yufei! Your build set the standard we all wish to emulate...your exquisite eye-watering details are simply amazing! Thank you for showing us the way! -
The Whispering Death is no more..... A couple of shelves collapsed in a Billy bookcase and smashed it to pieces together with some F-16s ( A Sufa, a CAS-16 and a paki viper) I have managed to repair most of my star wars kits but the jets were total write-offs.

Mmm....looks yummie π

LoL...you know how it is π
