fella from our local ATC came to the shop yesterday, asking if we could supply materials for a 12x12' diorama of duxford during the BoB. he is going to be looking for everything you would get on an airfield. fuel bowsers, trucks, cars, bikes, buildings, gun emplacements etc. obviously aircraft wont be an issue, but, could someone point me in the direction of the rest? cheers gang

fella came into the shop today, looking to see if we could value an item of his. it is: an approx 10 year old Lambo' Diablo Roadster, limited edition number 69 of 5000, in complete mint condition (the red velvet box looks brand new, he said that he maybe takes it out a few times a year). the car has never been unscrewed from the box baseplate, and as i said, its in perfect condition. on the ticket that is still attached to the car, it has "Art1004", although we werent sure if that meant anything. is there a site/forum that i can direct him to, as he has googled and drawn blanks. cheers guy

student came into the shop today, looking for a kit with a detailed interior so he could add it to his final year project in uni (or something like that lol). showed him the A380 with interior kit from revell, said that would be the kind of thing he wanted, but was thinking more along the lines of a smaller private jet (something like a learjet maybe?) his main requirement is that it has an interior so that coan be displayed etc. is there a kit out there that i could point in his direction? cheers guys and gals

apparently, i CAN pick some stock choices, or at least speak to the reps and get stuff that is not usually stocked etc. but, need to run it via the store manager first etc. store opened on saturday, and so far its been fairly busy :P

its located at #7 union street. its currently an empty shop space, used to be a phones'4'u but they moved. if you remember the area, its on the main walk towards the front of the quadrant shopping centre, slap in the centre of swansea. couldnt be located better.

i just got off the phone with the the area manager guy form ModelZone. i had an interview with them a few weeks back, for a new store they are opening here in swansea. long story short.................. I AM THE NEW SUPERVISOR OF MODELZONE-SWANSEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

a nice big box from those lovely folks at hannants - inside were: 3 Spitfire Mk.IX's (the JE*J boxing) and 1 Spitfire Mk.IX (the one with the ground crew/pilots/dog). time to start on my own flight now....

well, i wasnt intending for any insult to anyone by saying that i think the series is brilliant, because i do. i dont for one moment think that its a realistic potrayal of 'the few' but then, as someone had said in one of the posts, this was a series based on a fictious squadron. the thing that i DO like about the series, is the fact that during the shots of the cockpit interior, they did use the correct type of spade grip with the firing button, for that time of the conflict. Mk IX's being flown into combat, a quick camera change and its an early marque firing button lol. i ordered a cop

a couple of weeks back i offered to trade decals with anyone, i was looking for raf roundels and looking to lighten my spares box a tad. charlie cheetah stepped up and we arranged to trade items. at the same time, i also bought decals from hannants. today, i got home to find 3 packages. one from hannants, one from charlie, and one from me.... somehow the royal mail didnt like my envelope i was mailing to charlie so they sent it back. so as of now, i am sending smoke signals instead of letters and using carrier pigeons instead of packages. those decals should be with you asap charlie,
