  1. TOTALLY out of register, I wanna say. Maybe I can try some touchups to hidden the white of the roundels. I would not dare on the wing stripes...
  2. I scratchbuilt the intakes on the back (thin plasticard) and the nav light (clear stretched sprue). Notice the right aileron...it needed a small "extension" made out from a thin strip of plasticard. The undersides were painted aluminium, the gear legs added. Sorry, fuzzy pic. The tail: exhaust were drilled out and a pair of plastic tubes of the appropriate size were glued inside and blanked out to prevent the dreaded see-through effect. The control surfaces were cut off and repositioned. A nav light was added. Later, I also added the parachute container: carved and stretched sprue di
  3. Thanks to mods, I'm (late) in with PK-34 Fiat g-91 Y

It's still far from perfect, but better than the one supplied wi

  6. Thanks. But since I think the best way to replicate a spinning prop is cutting away the blades, I finally removed even the clear disc.
  7. Dooleybird in Italian dress... some photoshopping here...
  8. Help please...how can I post photos instead of links to them?
  9. Tim & Mike, as requested I'm posting the pics that show my progress, just to let you judge if I can be considered in. Notice that some of these pics have already been posted as "in progress pics" on another site's forum. I don't know if this brokes some of the GB rules. Of course, if I'll be admitted, any further progress will only be posted here! The cockpit: kit's tub, spare seat, scratchbuilt instrument panel, stick, ejection handles, head cushion, belts; homemade decals from drawings I found on the Net. hollowed and reconstructed wheel and airbrake bays, Just some generic tubin
