Have always 'loved' this movie (even in German). It is one of the few war movies that does nothing to glamorise itself.

It is,,,, "one" apparent story line is about the genetic manipulation of and by a race of spacefairng aliens. That caused one of thier ships to crash .......the 'Prometheus', and that genetic lifeform took over. The new movie will explain the 'Space Jocky', the reasons for the crash and other intrigues from the original Alien movie. -accordong to Si-Fi Blaster -I assume the human involvment is the doomed origanal discovery by "the Company" of the Aliens. That led to the Nostromo's orders to capture an example for testing ? SSooo glad Ridley Scott is back, Alien 3-5 were a nightmare !
